If you want inspiration (if not by story, but by quality) check out this series called Wakfu. It kind of has an anime style to it, but it also has a western touch to it because it's made by the French. Oh, and it's made in Adobe Flash. :P

Well, I'm not REALLY into it, but we switched to Adobe CS4 at my job for magazine layout, and it came with all these other programs, so I figured I'd take some classes to learn how to use them. I took Photoshop and InDesign classes already (just to make sure I'm caught up with everything, because I was using PS CS2 and Quark before we switched), and am now taking Flash 1 & 2 and Dreamweaver 1 & 2. I want to take Illustrator too, but they're not offering it any time soon. :( I had a year of unlimited classes that ends in May, so I'm trying to cram in as much as I can. XP

Flash is HARD. And FRUSTRATING. I really, really dislike it. I think with practice, I could improve a lot though. It's just a matter of getting used to the interface and what I need to do to animate something.

Anyways, I'll have to check out that webcomic when I get a chance. I'm swamped at work today. :sweat: Thanks for the link. :D

Hehe no, it's not a webcomic. :P It's a tv series. The MMORPG that they made based off of wakfu is also made in flash since it's all run under a Java applet.

I was just sharing the link because I know exactly how hard and frustrating Flash is. (I had to go through it too in highschool...) I figured a preview of the quality that can come from it would be a bit of an inspiration. It definitely makes me want to think about pursuing animation again. I know now that animation isn't your career goal, but it might inspire you, yet. :lol:
