Yeah, the dye section is an evil place to be sure. >_< With it's tempting colors and pretty people on the boxes. >__> Sometimes they have shiny, rainbowy banners, too!

I will admit, when I got orbitals in my lobes above my stretched part of my ears, it kinda did hurt. I'm not going to get other ear piercings, though. >__< They won't look good on me. xD But yeah, the medusa was worth the pain, though. ^^ I'd get it again if I had to, even knowing how much it hurt the first time.

Luckily there are a couple parlors here that have $10 per piercing. But they can be a crab shoot at times - some a really good piercers and some are really bad. >>; But my one piercer who did my medusa and orbitals in my lobes was even featured on piercing magazines, so I trusted him. Sadly, he moved out of the area. :<

Meh, I don't like the scarring after piercings, so if I want to get a piercing, it has to be one I will enjoy for a long time to make up for the mark left behind. >.>

Ouchies. I know how you feel, though - I'd re-do my lip piercing again even though it hurt sooo bad to pierce through scar tissue. It's my favorite piercing. <3

Eeek. Reviews + many-times pierced friends with recommendations = the best. That's how I found the parlor I go to - a friend who has like 15 piercings recommended it, and now I only go there. I don't trust anyone else to follow the same meticulous standards they do, especially since I saw a friend go to a more expensive parlor where they just shoved a needle in without measuring or drawing a dot to check beforehand. .___.;;

I wish I just got them pierced when I was a baby--that's what my mom wanted to do...

My 5th birthday present was getting my ears pierced....but I hardly wear earrings anymore :( I can go months without wearing them and the holes don't close I've had them pierced so long!

Haha, awesome. How long does it take for piercings to close up usually? I actually have never taken my earrings out since I've gotten them pierced.

No worries, Siri. I got my ears pierced when I was 18 - mainly because I wanted to make sure I could go through with getting my lip pierced pain-wise, but still.
I was late in the game, too. XD;;

@Siri - you know, I'm not sure. XD The longer you have them pierced the longer it takes for the holes to close. Like I said, I can go months without wearing earrings and I will put them in for once and I'll have no problem getting them in. But I've had my ears pierced for 17 years XD I know it takes less time when you first get them pierced. But you wear yours every day so I don't think you'll have a problem XD

Ah, piercings = :heart:! I have some myself —*both rooks, right nostril and 6-8g lobes, depending on the day. (They used to be 0g, but I let 'em shrink up a bit. They won't go smaller than 6-8 now.) — though I let several other ear piercings close up. Too much effort involved in changing them, and one I did myself, so it was poorly placed. :sweat:

I like how lip piercings look on people, but I think I'm done with piercings for now... Tattoos are another story however... XP

I don't know what a good location will be though--I want to do the ankle because it's cute, but I know that it'll hurt more because there's less skin there. I don't want a big one or something tacky. Haha, any ideas/advice?

I'm also a little concerned because I heard that professionals need to keep tattoos covered up all the time (while working). Is that true? My friend told me that teachers need to cover up any tattoos (either they can't be visible or they literally need to cover them with a band-aid or something). xD;

I'm recovering from a headache. xP Mom says it's because I took pain and anti-inflammatory pills today and the narcotic side of them tend to leave headaches when it's been a while since taking them. I'm kinda stressed and nervous for my exam tomorrow. It will mean the difference between whether or not I'll make it to a job interview and even if I did, I'll have to worry about passing the interview. xD
