Haha, yeah, see, I end up working with these animals in a medical manner. And there are SO MANY things that can go wrong with horses. And a lot of horse owners are as high strung as their animals. And horses stress out so much. And they bite! A cow can't bite you (though it can cow kick, at least horses has limited range of motion).

Skimmer and I DO NOT get along. I don't honestly trust that horse any farther than I can throw him. I love E-bay and Jaspar. I get along well with both and handle them well. And of course I love Peanut and I will take good care of her maiden. I promise.

Skimmer and I are old buddies. I was so angry last summer to see that his leg was getting puss buildup from the wound. I thought that you all should have been washing it off a lot more. But I was the one who ran from working with horses so I guess it is my own fault. Not that I was any happier as a counselor.

It probably should have been washed more, but we had so many different wounds on different horses to take care of. Sugar had to be hosed on her whithers and I think that we often got distracted by that one because it was the worst. Then we had to hose Peanut's eye and Flicka's leg. Not that that is any excuse, not even being exhuasted at the end of the day. I am sorry that I didn't take better care of his leg. And I call myself a horse lover, though he was moving well on it and many times after an injury like that, the leg will never go back to normal size. It doesn't usually slow the horse down though. But again I am sorry.

I just remember how much work I did medically when I was at the barn. I also remember some other stuff and realize now that maybe I over reacted. I could have stayed a wrangler, but it was best for all of us that I wasn't.

I am sure that you were a good wrangler and I know its hard not to forget how much stuff we had to do. We had a lot of different things to do. I wonder how different this summer will be.

My biggest problem was that I took out my frustration and anger on the other wranglers. If I hated how I was handling something, I got angry at our head wrangler instead. If I felt slighted by someone, I took it out on the horses. I didn't handle anything as I should have.
