I get really bored with lines. lol And then its crowded, and you probably dont get a very good seat.

Normally even ordinary theaters have them. But sometimes they don't. It all depends.
But when it comes to premieres, reserve seating is especially important. :x

Reserved seating is pretty common as well. You can reserve your ticket at the booth, so the earlier you get there, the more chance you have a good spot. Unfortunately, during the release of Avatar, it was so that all of the seats were fully booked through the internet, about 3 days in before it's release. The first two weeks it was this way with most of the showings. And well, since I tend to go the movies in a rare moment of activeness; I never have time to reserve a seat in advance. I usually am one of those people that come in during the trailers. I looove trailers though xD

Sorry I've been so absent. I got a second job, so I was there all day Saturday, and then yesterday I needed to get out of the house to take my mind off of some things -- health-related issues that I'm having. So yeah, life... FML!

There's no reserved stuff here either. o.o; Only in the BIG I-max theaters, but thats all the way in Indianapolis. The regular ones that are around towns you have to just hope for the best when you buy your ticket you get it at the time you want. Because otherwise, if you wait till the last minute and arrive at the theater to buy your ticket there'll be long lines there waiting because its full. But that depends on what movie you're going to see and if its really popular.

I know Sherlock Holmes, Avatar, Legion, Daybreakers, Alice in Wonderland, Edge of Darkness and the Olympians; the Lightening Thief--are all going to be popular for a long while. 8DDD <333

And yeah, there is just no reserved seatings in the theatres here. Its first come, first serve, pretty much. If there is a line, then you just hope to get their early enough to get a good spot.

We also often times tend to show up a little late. ><;; I have gone into the theatre after the trailers have already started to run many times. lol

At the theaters here we can buy our tickets online to all but one of them. lol

We can buy online tickets here, too.
But for us that doesn't mean you have a "reserved" seat. You dont have any special seat that you'll be at. You just get there early and have a good spot in the line and whoever gets in the theatre first gets first choice of where to sit.

At least, I dont think thats what Ry had meant by reserved seating
When I think reserved, I think that you have an actual seat that is reserved for you, so no one else can sit there

They don't do reserved seating here yet that I know of, but I know some theaters are thinking about doing it. That kinda sucks though. What if you just randomly decide you want to go to a movie, but by the time you get there, all the seats are reserved so you've gotta sit right up front? I guess that happens if you're going to a crowded movie regardless, but still...
