I was so bummed when I realized I didn't save it, and I couldn't remember exactly how I had it. ><;; I had most of it figured out, but I had the wrong hat, and had too much on the arms. lol
Now i'm super happy to have it all fixed now. 8D;;

But now I make it a habit to save them as soon as I think I'm finished. xD

I usually always say mine right before I change it, but I had thought I already saved it, so I didn't think about it. ><;;

And thats smart to save them as soon as you make them. I usually edit mine every now and then, the more I stare at them, though, so I usually wait till i'm ready to change, because then I'm usually more content, or just want to discard the whole thing

Also, I save mine right before I change. ^^;; Dunno why. I guess I don't like saving right after I finish making them because I may add in a thing or two later or whatever and then I would have to save all over again or something. 8DD;;

I save mine right before I change too. I usually spend days making an outfit. I start with one thing, change it a bit the next day, add something the next day. xD Eventually I'm satisfied with it, and at that point I decide to change. Either that or I just decide it's never going to work and then change.

I do something similar to what you do, Cami. I try and modify my outfits, then keep a finished one for a wee bit, and then change. ^^

I usually start with an item that I want to use and just play around with layering and colours until I find something I like, then keep fiddling until I'm happy... then I keep it for however long I feel like and save it just before I change...

unless I'm making an avatar for a competition, like Project Mene, then I start with a theme and an idea of how I want it to look, and try and make that happen... although it never ends up exactly how I imagined it xD

I tend to start with an item or an idea (like these two items would probably look cool together), and discover a theme while messing around. Then I try to figure out how to better fit that theme.

That happened to me with this avi..I ended up eliminating the first item entirely, though lol

I do the same thing as all you guys, pretty much. lol

I make an avi, and then keep working on it, and then once I I am happy with it, I will keep it for awhile then change. But I will always save it before I change to a new avi. But I can't just save mine as I go, because I dont save only the avi image. I save the avi and the list of items that are on it, because sometimes I can't tell all of what I was wearing, and its just easier to be able to look at a list. :3

I've only saved the item list a couple of times, when I was trying something out and thought I might go back to it afterwards... but I rarely go back to avatars I've already had, I just make a new one xD

mostly I just start with one item that I want to use, and mostly it stays on the avatar the entire time, but sometimes I end up getting rid of it in the course of making the avatar work...

And I never know if I might feel like going bck to an avi, so I try to always save the items, just incase I might want to go back to it later.

I tend to just keep the same skin colour (pale), but if I think a darker one might look better I'll try it. lol
