Been listening to a lot of oldies with my parents. lol
It completely baffles my dad that I know so many songs, especially the old ones. I think he just forgets that I grew up listening to it with them, and that I love old music. Haha
So even your parents are awake? Cool then. xDD;;
And I know a good number of oldies as well, even if not by name. ^^;; My dad is a huge music addict so he knows a lot and shares the knowledge with us~ :'D <3<3
Haha. My mom is usually up just as late, if not later, then me. Such a bad influence! ;P
And my dad is usually in bed hours ago, but he's been enjoying listening to all the songs with us.
Ooh. Nice.
American songs, or songs from your country?
What style of music do you like?
Oh, I bet your mom can't beat my dad. xDD;; He has more of a night life than I do. >.>;; Hell, he sleeps past 4am usually. Or gets home at 8am, then sleeps. Yeah. I could go on and on, but that might bore you. xDD;;
And both. :3 My dad knows a lot. xDD;; He doesn't have a huge big ass CD and record collection for nothing. ^^;; And what's scary is that despite having thousands of them, he can name them one by one by memory without looking or anything. @[email protected];;
As for me, I'm more into alternative rock. :3 I like other genres though. Except for rap. =\ Can NEVER get into it. Although, I can stand tastefully done ones. ^^;;
lol What is he off doing that late?
My mom just stays up late on the computer watching shows. lmao
My parents are like that, too! They know so many songs. They can just sit there and name songs and artists. Its crazy. I can't usually ever remember who did what song or what the name is (depending on the songs really), but I can always recognize a song once I hear it.
Yeah, rap just gets annoying. Some are decent, but very few. I like pretty much all genres besides that, though, expect J-rock or bluegrass.
I'm a totally classic rock fan, though. Love me some good classics.
Poker. xDD;;
And hanging out with his friends who own bars and all.
My dad used to be really big on the bar scene, and while he's not active there anymore he's still a respected individual among bar owners. ^^;;
And omg! Same here! D: I'm so bad at names. xDD;; Always have, always will be. >.>;;
And you're like my brother then. :3 He loves all kinds of rock, especially neoclassical. ^^
I'm all right with all kinds of rock, but metal is a no-go. =\ I hate screamers. >.<;;
She looks sweet, but threatening with that dinamite

Thank you for your nomination, Ryl. <3
Also, Sizzla's outfit is possibly the best I've seen with that festival ribbon. I love the choice of colours she used too, so vibrant and contrasting. *_*
@ Ry - I can usually remember people's names that I meet, but only if I pay attention when they tell me or find them memorable. Sometimes I really just dont care enough to remember their name, or I dont catch it when they tell me.
Eew. Metal is horrible. It gives me a headache. I can't listen to metal or screemo. I dont much of even consider them music. They're just screaching. No musical talent there.
@ Su : Lucky you. D: People have to keep repeating their names at me at least thrice for me to remember. >.>;;
And it depends on your taste, of course. XP I wouldn't diss it as not being music. xDD;; Since music at its core is a form of expressing yourself, and some people want to express themselves that way. It's just not my thing at all though, is all. ^^;;
lol Sometimes that happens to me, too, but thats mainly because I really dont pay attention when people tell me their names. I'm more of a face person than a name person. I've just got more of a photographic memory then whatever it is that makes it so you can remember said things better. ><;;
Haha. This is very true. I heard that on something just the other day, too. Saying how all music is a way of expressing oneself, and some people just have different methods.
It just really hurts my head, though. I have sensitive hearing, and screaming just makes my head throb and I get super annoyed. Its totally not my style, but thats cool for whoever does like it.
My memory is mostly focused on the colour of things though. Like I remember that my ex was wearing a red shirt when I met him.
And my current boyfriend when I met him, he was wearing a green shirt, and jeans. I am fairly certain his jacket was brown, too.
Huh. But they aren't really screaming. Thats what gets me the most.
If its just screaching out the words and I can't understand them, then it just like jumbles in my head and gives me a headache. Same with screemo where its all nuts. lol
I like something with a good beat, though. And I like "bobbity" music. The kind that just cheers you up because of its sound.
@ Cami - I'm not totally sure where my photographic memory is strongest. Like I said, I can usually always remember faces and where I saw them. I can usually imagine some things just how I saw them or how they were occuring. I can also remember what words look like for notes, sometimes. For my Zoology tests, I can remember that I would sit there and close my eyes and imagine my notes and where I remember that info being and kind of repeat what I had memorized from it until I found the right information.
I can also usually always remember conversations with people. Pisses my friends the hell off, though.
I'm not on the power metal bandwagon, but Kamelot IS a really good band. My favourites from them are When The Lights Are Down, Lost And Damned, Center of the Universe, Abandoned and The Fourth Legacy. <3
