I totally agree on this :p
I recycle my commons A LOT, using them in combo with new ones :p

How do you recommend I start building up on commons.

Well obv:

#1. don't sell them!

Just create an outfit, buy commons for it.
Then you can for example use one or two commons of that outfit and use it for your new outfit, buying more commons for it. And thus creating a new look

I started building up my commons collection by making avatars with "generic" commons, so that those can be some sort of base. :'> For example, you can make an avatar using... say, the Black/White Wraps, Gold/Silver/Bronze Anklets, some belts, and etc. Since those items will be easier to recycle for other avatars. :3

That's what I do anyway~ ^^

I never do one outfit at a time lol.
I started off with buying most of the singlets, teenie skirts, stockings and items like that;
I incorporate those a lot in my avatars. After that, I go look for extra's like accesories, and other stuff that I could use :

Well, for me, I started with one outfit, then another, and then from then on I started buying commons off the Exchange and tried using them with my current items. xDD;;

Oh got it!
The first shopping Cart is going to be a bitch to complete though, because I'm going to get:

All the Basic Tees
All the Basic Tank Tops
All the Basic Stockings
All the Yukatas
All the Basic Belts
All the Bandanas (head)
All the Tribal Anklets and Chockers
Black and White Wrap
All the Teenie Skirts
All the Cutie shoes

I make an outfit, and buy things to make it better. Gradually, my avatar changed and changed until being something totally different xD

@ Chubbs : Try starting with one set of head items, one set of tops, one set of bottoms, one set of socks/stockings, one kind of shoe, and some generic/basic accessories. :'> You can probably take the skirts out and either the tees or the tank tops. XP

But since all those pretty much come in 52 colors, you should probably only limit to one shade of a color per color for now? =O Like, one kind of blue, then one kind of green, and etc. Just to start slow, since getting ALL those colors can be very intimidating and expensive. >.>;;

ANNNND I'm all MAC'ed out @[email protected];; I've been working on it since last night...BUT I completely updated the Tattoo Shop, The Armory, Quercus Magus, and half of headworks XD; It was a lot of work LOL; I have the other stores in order, I just haven't written out which items are missing and then tackle the getting the images and adding them in T___T;;

Yeah I bought A LOT there and then I sold most of them there 8]
My inventory there is now slowly made up of the O3-O8 donation and event items, and then a few common sets that I liked a lot or used a lot XD
