o.0 thats really low....in NY minimum for servers is over 5.

I think the minimum wage in NY is actually like.
5.55$ per/hour.

I think it might even be higher though, actually.

For servers, that sounds right. I wasn't sure if it had gone up since I was in the food business.

For everything else its 7.25 now I think may even be higher, dunno....been awhile since I've been at minimum.

Minimum wage here (effective March 31st 2O1O) is 1O.25/hr and for servers it's going to be 8.9O/hr

I dunno cost of living and wages are decent in ny and thats part of the US.

xD Actually, I hear different thing about NY. We have family friends who worked up there, retired and moved south because the cost of living to a whole lot more.

Depends on where in NY you are. If you go anywhere near the City then yes, prices are high.

Most were long island, NYC, queens, manhatten. xD

and GA uses the national set minimum wage for tipped employees. So yeah xD

I am one of the few of my friends we knows that NY has more farmland that GA. xD that is a shocker to most people.

I am just used to hearing people complaining about the high cost of living there.
