Because they're finally teenagers.

One is popular to the point of valley girl, but very, very sick and she won't let herself acknowledge she can't do what the other kids do. The other has been bullied for honestly no reason, since kindergarten. And she starts her first year of high school. I remember that school and it was the worst time of my life (as is the case for all high schoolers, but I mean it; my -guidance counsellor- told me to drop out, there...) and I'm so worried for her.

These two don't realize the parties are changing, the boys are changing, the level of difficulty (they like to shirk homework), everything. The only parties my school ever had were drinking/drugs./sex. There was never any clean ones.

It is... I basically had a large hand in raising them because my parents just weren't in the shape to. I feel like, if something happens and they're hurt in a very easily preventable way, it's all my fault because I didn't prepare them enough. They're good kids and their own people, but they have a tendency to be major sheep. I wasn't and was ostracized severely for it. XD;

Meh, my parents didn't bother raising me, why would they raise my sisters? XD; I've been mommy #2 since I was six.

Kind of. xD; Just didn't have one. My parents nurtured my attraction to reading, and by three I was reading grown up books (I had a grade six reading level in pre-k xD; ) so they left me to that or the tv and did their own thing, mostly. xD;; When my sisters were born I was feeding, changing diapers, babysitting. (I was babysitting by ten... >_>;; ) Playing second parent after the divorce, playing mom full time whenever my mother was sick (which is UBER often)... I didn't have time so I didn't bother trying.

On an amusing note, I dreamt that winter was just around the corner and rationalized it meant Christmas specials were starting and Matt would be here next week. XD Nevermind we're not even near Halloween specials yet.

Our thanksgiving is not the same time as yours, and it's only two days long. That and his fall break is like, a week long. Considering it's a two day trip here and back, he'd be with me for like, one day. xD;
