Life as a model isn't as glamorous as it seems. The models live a life like everyone else: they make friends, they make enemies, and they even fall in love, but everything they do can either move them to the top or can destroy them. In this world, only the ones at the top survive and once you fall you can't ever rise again. If given the chance to be in this world where fame and fortune is everything, will you take it? Can you make it as a model?

~ Setting ~

This story takes place at a Modeling agency that is known for their beautiful young men and women. The Modeling agency is known for making dreams come true, but they also can crush your dreams in an instant. Most of the models here are stuck up and can be rather rude, but if you're too nice, you'll be the first to fall.

Since she doesn't know if she'll be able to marry someone that meets her parent's expectations, she became a model, but refuses to show her body and wear girly dresses, so she uses her cute face and slender body to model the Lolita fashion, which she has gained the rank of number 1.
Personality: Rose takes things rather seriously and can come off as cold. She's not one for small talk and would rather have a conversation if there was a point to it, not just to chat and make friends.

The agency markets her and her brother as a couple, and the world is convinced that they are. They keep up the act almost 24/7, as their manager specifically stated that their contract would be terminated if anyone found out they were actually related.
Personality: As a child of two successful models, Paige has learned to close herself from the world and trust no one except the only person she can rely on, Jacob. However, she keeps up the image of being sweet, bubbly and cheerful, and is very convincing. She acts nice half the time, but if she attaches herself to a person that usually means she has other motives in mind.

That meant changing her hair color alot but now she settles down with a beautiful brown hair color.
Personality: She is really mean and snobby but in front of the press and photographers she is a sweet and kind girl who wants to save the planet. Layla really cares nothing about the planet.

Just a few years ago, her left eye was injured in an attack by a jealous rival, but she has not let it stop her from modeling.
Personality: Extremely focused on success. She is impatient and does not take criticism well unless it comes from someone she truly respects. Not much of an actor, so you can always tell what she's feeling.

History: He doesn't mind the fact that his parents like to push him harder compared to Paige. He's the older of the pair and usually the brain behind the operations. The only actual reasons the twins are marketed as a couple are A) they work because of the huge color contrasts between the two B) he insisted on watching over his sister.
Personality: He's cold and aloof at times, mostly letting Paige do all the talking, but that's what his character image requires him to be. Compared to Paige he warms up to people easier, if only he wasn't required to stay in character almost all the time. Jacob also has a bit of a Big Brother Complex, and will beat the living hell out of any guy that so much looks at Paige in a wrong way.

Anything Else: His stage name, Donovan, means "Little Dark", serving as a contrast to Paige's Lucinda and an indication to his usual style.

Personality: He has a very sophisticated manor and is very popular with the ladies, which adds to his cocky attitude. He tends to be more laid back and believes that he can't ever fall from the top due to his body figure, causing him to be hated by many of the other models. He's very cold and doesn't see girls as anything but toys, except maybe Rose.

Type of Model: He’ll dress up in just about any style that the photographer and his manager want. The only thing he won’t do is shots that show a lot of his skin, and he has to have pants or some similar covering in everything that he does.
History: He doesn’t talk about his past a lot, preferring to stay to himself. The only thing that he tells the public is that his mother died when he was younger, and that’s why he tends to have a darker style. Other than that, he doesn’t talk about his family life. The boy is very intelligent, and loves to look up research and find new things. He’s gone to many different private schools and now has a personal teacher.
Prozehn became famous in his home country of Japan, so he decided to try his luck elsewhere.
Personality: He loves animals dearly, though other people are a different story. He tends to distance himself from other people, unless he likes them or gets to know them. He seems like a cold person, and he’s very serious, but he also has a nice side to him. Only people who get to know him find this out though, that or if you pay attention to him playing with animals. He rarely talks unless he deems it needed. His intelligence shows a lot of the time, when he actually does talk. Underneath his mask and distance, he’s a kind and sweet guy. He also tends to be extremely polite like people were back in the days of old.

This little creature, Prozehn picked up off of the streets. He did some research on the type of creature that it was, and he found out that it was an experiment that some scientists were doing. That is why it looks like a cat/rabbit/ bird/thing.
Anything Else: He has MPD. Multiple Personality Disorder, though he hides this as well as he can.
Appearance: He stands at seven feet in height and he has hazel eyes.

Personality: Shy, but only to those he has crushes on. Is very fun and slightly perverted. Since he doesn't have a rich background he doesn't have that "money" persona.

History: He modeled once for something he doesn't even remember nor care about. It was just a side job to get a little extra cash. He once played a minor role in a horror movie and made a one time appearance on one tv show. He doesn't remember that either and he doesn't care he only did it for the same reasons has that one time modeling thing. It was rather boring to him, though if he was desperate for money he would probably do it again. His parents didn't care what he did so he was out of the house a lot and did basically whatever he wanted. They never told him some of the things they should have and didn't really gave him praise for the things he did good, but he turned out all right. He has finish school so at least he's got that going for him. He has decided to model again just so he could have something to do.
Personality: He is a big flirt. He likes flirting with the ladies a lot. He can be serious when he needs to be. He is kind and will back off if they make themselves very clear that they want him to leave them alone; though that doesn't mean he won't be back later. He is hardly ever quiet. He is in no way ashamed of how he looks; he loves the way he looks.

Anything Else: When he goes to sleep and has nothing to do the next day it is very hard to get him up.

Reserved - Just in Case

Alia walked out of the limo and through the doors of model school, feeling very out of place and highly annoyed at her parents, not only did they force her to come here but they almost took away Cookie too, Cookie was her sugar glider, nocturnal like a small squirrel, and a very unusual and expensive pet. Once Alia had been registered she walked upstairs to her room, and plopped her stuff down on one of the beds, and then layed down herself, and fell asleep.

Rose was the star model in the Lolita fashion at the modeling agency. She was putting on make up for her next commercial that she had to do while someone else was doing her hair. Later today she would have to meet some of the newer models that just came in. She didn't necessarily hate it, but she didn't like to have to get all dressed up for a bunch of beginners, after all, half of them won't even be able to make it to the top.

Alia awoke startled, and walked downstairs, she had no idea where to go so she started opening the doors trying to find the main hall, so that she could get something to eat, instead she accidentally walked in a girl who was getting her hair done, and was dressed in goth, or atleast that was what, she wans't very good at fashion names. "Oh sorry, I was looking for the cafeteria, and..." Alia trailed off not sure of what to say next.

Rose stood up at the interruption. "Take the next left, there won't be a door to the cafeteria," She said as someone put on her shoes for her. The girl must have been new, not to know where the cafeteria was.

Alia smiled, "Thanks." she said and turned to walk out of the room

Rose sighed and brushed a strand out of her hair. She looked in the mirror and did a few turns to makes sure everything was perfect before sitting back down to allow her make up artists to do the finishing touches.

Alia sat down at one of the tables and picked at her food, so far the school was ok but she didn't really think she fit in, after she finished eating she wandered around, just curious to see everything, so she'd know where it was.

Once she was finished dressing, Rose headed down to the photo shoot. It was a rather large studio and some of the other models were there as well. She positioned herself as she always did and faked her smiles as the picture taking began.

“Lucinda, are you ready?” the manager asked curiously, sticking her head inside the makeup room. In reply, the blonde girl turned to flash the manager a big smile. She stood up, letting the ringlets fall over her shoulder before chirping, “I’ll be done in a minute!” The manager smiled and exited the room, unaware of look of distaste Lucinda—well, really Paige—had given her just a split second later.

She sunk back down into her seat, letting the hairstylist secure the crown and ribbons on her head before he declared she was ready to go. Giving him a bright smile, Paige stood up, thanking the hair stylist before walking out. Hurrying three rooms down the corridor, she pushed open the door and asked, “Can I have him back now?”

After having the wardrobe designer adjust his tie for about the fortieth time, Jacob, Donovan, depends on who you are, he felt like strangling her. It was either she wasn’t satisfied with the tie at all, or that she was just looking for an excuse to touch his chest. But regardless, both reasons annoyed Jacob to no end. As the hair stylist finally, finally finished on making sure the sideways crown wouldn’t fall off, Paige popped her head into the room and asked if he could leave yet.

Hearing the females of the team tease and chuckle, the dark haired boy was then ushered out to meet his “girlfriend”, who was in reality his sister. Grumbling an apology about being late because of the tie, Jacob was ultimately dragged down the hall to where the photo shoot was taking place. After being forced inside, the pair began the usual routine. He let his eyes wander for a moment before resting on one particular girl. Rose Summers, the only person who had ever given Lucinda and Donovan a run for their money.

"And we're finished," Rose's manager said smiling for she had been excellent as always. She gave her manager a smile, though she knew he would never be with her. It seemed it was harder to find rich men these days who were around her age. She felt a strange feeling that someone was watching her and moved her eyes to see who it was. It was the happy couple, she turned her attention back onto the camera man who was apparently talking to her, though she wasn't listening. At least she was able to make it to the top by herself, she didn't need a boyfriend.

Watching as Jacob got down on one knee to kneel and kiss her hand, she plastered on a look that probably belonged to some lovesick girl like Juliet. Paige mentally groaned at the fact that lately they have been assigned to couple shoots instead of individual ones. After a few more shots, the photographer called for a five minute break and the blonde rolled her eyes at the sight of Rose. “Stuck up as always…” she muttered under her breath so that no one could hear before grinning, thanking the photographer over and over again as he praised them for a job well done.

“Donovan, come on, these shoes are killing me,” the girl turned to whine, winding her arm around Jacob’s before pouting. Earning a grunt in reply, she smiled, tugging him to the direction of a seat before plopping down.

Gracing the camera with a small smile, Jacob was relieved when the photographer said it was time for a break. Taken to a seat to sit down, he listened to Paige talk, nodding occasionally. He was listening; it just wasn’t his character to reply. She tugged on his arm again and he glanced up, following her gaze to the amateurs at one part o the studio. Scoffing, Jacob turned to swat at her before saying in a low voice, “Paige, we shouldn’t be worried about them. It’s her we should be careful of.”

Of course, the expected reaction was surprise since he had called her by her name as she smacked him upside the head. “I know that. Do you think Ms. Manager found the third person for the shoot we have with Moi-même-Moitié?” he heard her ask, and he shook his head. “I’m worried that it might be her, though. Ms. Manager’s been thinking about asking her.”

Rose nodded her head a bit to show that she was listening to the photographer, but later asked her manager what he had said, as she typically did.

"You know you really should listen more often," Her manager spoke as he pulled out a chair for her to sit down. Though she really felt like standing, she didn't want to refused the offer and politely sat down.

"If he had something important to say I would," Rose said as he handed her manager handed her a cup of coffee.

Her manager smiled and sighed, "He said you would be an excellent canidate for Moi-même-Moitié."

"We'll see what happens," Rose stared out a window as a dove flew by. A small smile formed on her serious face. There was a flash and she frowned as her photographer took a photo of her when she wasn't in the studio. He apologized, but apparently she had looked too cute for him to resist. She frowned and went back to sipping her coffee.

“Don’t look like I just killed the cat and suck it up, Paige. I know you don’t like EGL but you know Moi-même-Moitié is the most important shoot we have for the season. Besides, I market Mana’s clothing, it’s not bad,” he said briskly, looking slightly annoyed at the reluctant grimace that had formed on her face. “And who knows? If she joins it might actually boost our popularity.” Reaching out to adjust the pink, frilly ribbon on her collar, he grabbed her hand and despite her subtle protests, pushed her back to the shoot when the photographer called.

A scowl appeared across her face before she replaced it with a pout. EGL didn’t suit her as well as sweet Lolita did. Continuing with the shoot, the photographer said they did excellent, but she was albeit distracted. “One last shot before everything’s over. Lucinda, sit down on Donovan’s lap and put your arms around his neck.”

The manager looked and smiled, satisfied at her wards. They were doing considerably well considering how young they were. Approaching Rose’s manager, the brunette smiled. “I would like to discuss with you a possible agreement for the upcoming Moi-même-Moitié photoshoot…”

Alia had just gotten word of the photo shoot and hurried to get dressed and run downstairs, she had found the room while exploring earlier and quickly walked in. Alia stopped short when she saw all the people that where going to be watching, she thought it was just going to be the camera crew, but she got up her courage anyway and saw the girl that she had walked in on earlier and went over to ask her what to do "Um, hi sorry to bother you again but what excatly am I supposed to do? by the way i'm Alia."

"I'll be back with you in a minute," Rose's manager smiled as he got up to speak with the manager of the couple.

Rose frowned, just when she thought things couldn't get worse, the new girl from this morning reappears. "Rose," She said just to be polite and then pointed over to where all the other new comers were getting their photos taken, "You'll be over there."

“And that’s a wrap!” Letting out a sigh of relief, Paige fell back onto the couch, ignoring the fact she was still on his lap and stretched. At the rush of more amateurs she yawned and repositioned her legs so they were no longer on her brother. “None of them have any potential to make it big. That one has horrible fashion sense,” Paige commented before pointing at a redhead girl wearing a blindingly dazzling, probably sequined top. Sitting up to examine them closer, her eyes landed on her manager talking to Rose’s. The blonde frowned slightly.

Glad that the shoot was finally over, he reached up and loosened the tie at his neck, watching the newcomers with Paige. At her comments he nodded, then gesturing at one of the assistants to bring him a cup of water. Following her gaze to their manager, he directed her to the newbie talking to Rose. “Now that one looks like she can at least make it into a magazine.”

The manager smiled before beginning, “As you know, Moi-même-Moitié has been looking for new models for their latest EGL line. It just so happens that Lucinda and Donovan were chosen. However, we require one more female model. Would Ms. Summers be interested in collaborating with us?”

"Rose would be honored to," Her manager spoke for her. If it was up to Rose to respond she would most likely say no since he knew she didn't approve of the couple. He was going to have to get her something so she'd agree later.

Layla was so tired this morning she missed her photo shoot but decided that she should run down to where she was supposed to get the photos done. She had to do her own makeup, hair, and nails since the makeup artist left. "Ah your just in time Layla. The photagrapher almost left." Her agent Gwenovere said. Gwenovere always wanted Layla on time. She got ready and the photagrapher took out his equipment AGAIN. Layla noticed 1 other girl and the hottest model couple in the world. "Wow those two seem perfect for eachother." Layla thought. Then she thought about the Moi-même-Moitié photoshoot that she was supposed to be in but Gwenovere declined the offer. Ever since that day where Yumi had no say in anything she didn't like Gwenovere as much as she used to.

Mason yawned once the photo shoot was done. He hated being woken early and preferred to have his pictures taken the night before, but his manager had insisted on him to do the magazine cover for Desire. He spotted Rose who was talking to some new comer. "Well Well, now who's that?" He asked his manager as he spotted a spotted a fine looking girl arriving late.

"Layla Summers," His manager responded, "No relationship to Rose."

"She's kind of cute," Mason grinned. He was always on the look out for hot girls. He saw his manager frowned and laughed, "Don't worry, there's only one girl I really want." His eyes lingered back to Rose. "Now if only she'd want me," He thought and he turned his attention back to Layla, he needed a new girl to toy around with anyway.

The manager grinned, flicking her hair back before saying, “Thank you, I am sure the pair will be looking forward to working with her.” And that was a definite lie. She knew the twins well enough to know they detested the idea of working with others. “I’ll be telling my wards, then. Again, thank you for your cooperation.”

Paige sighed, sauntering over to a chair and sitting down so the hair stylists could start removing the ridiculous hair accessories and extensions that had made up the whole theme of the photo shoot: Prince and princess, more specifically ouji-sama and himeloli. Not suiting quite her usual style, but close enough.

Spotting more models coming in rather late, Paige stood up once her hair was no longer in ringlets. Giving a glance at Jacob, who had left to talk to their manager, she turned to look at Mason and bit her lip. You see, the disadvantage about being marketed as taken in the model industry is that you get surrounded by hot guys. And you can’t touch them in fear it would ruin your reputation.

Slightly frustrated, the blonde girl could only bite back the urge to engage a conversation and return her thoughts to Moi-même-Moitié.

“So you’ve decided on her and her manager agreed?” he responded dully, getting more and more irritable at the thought of the tantrum Paige would throw after she found out. Groaning slightly, he was ushered by the manager to go introduce himself to Rose and talk. Like that was going to happen. Paige would do the talking as usual, whether she liked it or not. Walking over, he stared at Rose for a moment before murmuring a haste, “It’ll be a pleasure to work with you.” Reluctance was written all over his face, though.
