woah... the judges didn't agree on much this challenge...

maybe I'm being subborn, but I disagree with some of the things said about my av, but hey, I'm not judging xD

I just have a question for Pixore: what gold? There's no gold on this av... there's the basic welcome singlet, teenie yellow skirt and the hat and shoes from the yellow star set...

this next challenge is going to be hard!

Yeah, I noticed that. xD I didn't agree with the final results at all.

And your shoes are gold. Look closely.

@slowtrain: Maybe it's just my eyes playing tricks on me, but there seems to be bits of gold around the white singlet. xD;;
Also, I think the shoes have a tinge of gold... even though they're from the yellow star set. If not, then they're at least a different shade of yellow than the hat and skirt.

Sorry if it seemed like I was being mean in my comments, but I was nitpicking because I want to give everyone as much feedback as I can. All the avatars in this contest tend to be so good, that I have to scrutinize to figure out who should get the most points. x3

Yours was my favorite from the last round, so I'm sure that you'll come up with another awesome entry. :)

hmm... well they look yellow to me, and I wasn't just using gold because I couldn't find anything yellow, they're yellow on my screen...

ah well, I wasn't eliminated and there's a new challenge...

Muted, a bit several different colors. I'm thinking I aim for that feel.

landfills are, for the majority, neutral color(whites, blacks, browns) filled with dabbles of color here and there.

After reading through the comments, it makes me wonder how often you guys shop at Goodwill or secondhand stores. XP I dunno. As a teenager, I was all about some Goodwill/DAV/vintage stores. Most of those places don't take clothes that are too ragged, and for the most part, the clothes don't look as bad as you'd expect. I think maybe some people expected this to be a 'vintage' challenge, when I looked at it as a Goodwill challenge. Most Goodwill clothes are modern and simplistic. It'd be relatively easy to slap something together that looks relatively fashionable at Goodwill. It's just a matter of digging around.

The next challenge should prove to be interesting. I have NO idea what to do. T_T

it looks much better cora xD I am not entirely sure if I get the dump feel from it or not, but I am also half asleep, but it portrays the colorscheme a LOT better at the very least.

I upped the item limit to give everyone more freedom, but not by much.

I think they have a very clear theme. It's all about being environmental.

Well sure, I understand the theme of this round -- environmentalism and all -- but a dump? :lol: That's so hard to conceptualize in an avatar. I just see there being a lot of opposing opinions... I guess creative intepretation is what you're looking for, so we'll see what everyone comes up with. I know it's going to be tricky for me. :sweat:
