I'm sure there are trucks that go around to parks... but there aren't any in the city or around my street... and since all the kids have gone back to school now, there isn't much call for them except for weekends

I never saw an ice cream truck until I moved to New York City, and then they were everywhere.

Ryl: We certainly have ice cream carts, and plenty of ice cream shops. And lots and lots of that italian ice cream.
There may be ice cream trucks; I just haven't seen them. Could be because of how disorganized the streets are.

I can hear ice cream trucks by my house two or three times each summer. But I really doubt it gets much business in my neighborhood. xD;;

Thankies, Cora~ :3 <3
@ Cami : Ohh, I see, I see. =O Kinda like over here then, where there are more ice cream carts than trucks, per se. ^^;; Trucks are only in major streets and crowded places, since that's where the most business is. =O
@ Pixore : Why isn't it popular in your neighborhood? =O Lolz, out of curiosity~ 8DD;;

:O Here we have like 2 ice cream vans per town :lol: but our towns are small.
They're quite common in the summer. The park outside schools at half 3 so they'll get business :lol:
My boyfriend's sister has been hit by like 3 ice cream vans though. Careless drivers!

lol all I know is that drug dealers are on them now, and considering that people in my school say I live in the "ghetto" neighborhood, I would say they sell ice cream to those who want it and drugs to anyone who wants it. xD I have no clue.
Needless to say, I do not go to ice cream trucks/vans anymore. xD
<.< I make my own snow cones now. :lol:

@Rylynne: This is Pixore's mule. Anyway, to answer your question, I live in a suburb where all of the houses are spaced far apart. It takes forever for the ice cream truck to get around the neighborhood and they'll probably only pass a few houses. Not only that, but most people here are older and there aren't as many children as you'd find in the city. And all the soccer moms here are insane... thinking that everyone and everything is out to get them. They probably won't let their kids buy ice cream from a strange man in a truck. o.O;;
Because of them, even though we have very low rates of crime in our neighborhood, there are more police officers than you can shake a stick at. And that's where our tax dollars go~ T__T
