I always thought I was near the bottom just to torture me as I scrolled down to see the scores... when I don't see a winner or looser until right at the bottom I'm always terrified that I'm out xD

I didn't want to do the typical items that look like they're blowing in the wind, I've used them in previous entries... I tried to represent wind as fierce, but sort of elegant, how it can be strong or soft... and using the grey, blue, silver and white that to me is associated with wind and storms

the trouble with this approach is trying to stop it looking like it's supposed to represent water :/

Hmm, it appears more of a winter theme to ME. But lets wait and see what other people say XD

I like the idea behind it, slow. =O Although, I find your blues inconsistent, I think~ The hair is too heavy for my taste, but I love where you want to go with it though. :> <3<3

Yeah, it doesn't really scream "wind" to me... I really think you do need some movement in there. The blue temptress dress would be great for that IMO. And you can still do cool layering with it, I'm fairly certain. :yes: You just need to bring some wind into your avatar... :)

I agree with what Paprika says, now that I see it (I missed her post cause we posted at the same time xDD). =O I guess you can make it more wind-like by using very soft and flowy items instead of billowing ones, if you really want to avoid it. =) <3

Yeah, I hear you there Cami. I tried... At least coal ranges in color from brown to black. :D I'm definitely going to have to send an explanation and photos along with this one. XP

What do you guys think of mine? Its represents a burning oil tower, the blankets represent oil spilling out (even though that doesn't happen very often in real life - at least, I'd like to think not) and the horns/skeleton hoodie/"evil" items represent the damage using resources such as oil causes to the environment.

I just realized Sizzla and I used the same "burning" concept XD; oh well... if I think of something else before the deadline I'll do that instead since Sizzla did the fire thing first.

I meant for a punk-ish and mean sort of persona for electricity, since, well, I always saw electricity as something that doesn't give a crap about what the other elements think or something. xDD;; Hence the "strong" stance she has.
Yellows are for actual lightning bolts, light blues are for "real" lightning bolts (since, well, lightning in the sky isn't actually yellow but light blue-ish/white xDD).

Should I take out the gold though? =\ And I'm not even sure if I'm projecting lightning in any case. D: I was trying to get streaks of yellow in a slanted manner, but we lack items that cover/outfit diagonally. >.>;;

And, for the first time, I'm using my own invo! 8DD;;

I would say first of all that the panda slippers gotta go. XD It is strange to have something cute mixed with a power house. The socks that you used are a different color than the other blues and it just looks strange. I'm not too sure about the gold, but it looks ok. for the head maybe try a yellow bandana and some kind of black hairpiece or white one, or both. xD

how is it now... I think without the waspie the black is more balanced... the black on the arm fell over the dress in the mac... it made more sense that way with the theme, but hey, nothin you can do, and the arms look too bare without it...

My concern though is... does it represent electricity enough? =\ I doubt we'll get to explain our avatars for judging, so I wanna know if I get that message across. =| I would hate for my avatar to only represent electricity with the Weather Forecast background, since that is kind of a cheat in my case. ^^;;

Maybe instead of so much red, you could add gold?
