I really like that, Sizzla. Especially your use of all the backgrounds. The darker green shirt seems weird though.

God, this competition drives me crazy... Because I'm torn between being conceptual (much like your outfit, Cami) and actually looking like a specific type of tree.

Because while I like your outfit and the concept, it just doesn't look enough like a tree to me. Maybe I'm being too literal about all this... :sweat: T_T

Ryl - Your idea is really cute! I like how the chickies represent fallen mangoes.
Personally, I like the version with the chicky on your head. I think a chicky on your shoulder and/or hand wouldn't hurt, either. That way, some "mangoes" are still on the tree. ;D
But you could call it a lemon tree too, probably.

Sizz: I prefer the weeping willow one too. It's just that one shirt that bothers me.

I'm trying to figure out what to do with my feet. I've tried adding socks and shoes to look like fallen leaves, but it just doesn't seem right to me.

Okay, I'm still debating the hair, but I think I'm going to go with this. I like the darker green shirt underneath, as it goes with the grass and reminds me of the branches closer to the trunk of the tree, where there's more shade -- hence, darker colors. :)

@Cami: I couldn't put shoes on my avatar either. I tried it, but it looked funny. XP I tried to make my pants as wrinkly as possible for the tree trunk, so I didn't want to ruin the effect with shoes. XP

@Suona: I love weeping willows. ^_^ So pretty!

I'm actually looking for other trees to try out, just in case I get some inspiration from somewhere else.

@ sizzla - Me too! Willows are my favorite kind of trees. They're gorgeous.

I so didn't see it as a lemon tree. xDD;; I think mangoes because the Philippines has the most awesome mangoes ever (not like strange cruddy mangoes I've tasted abroad >.>), so, yeah. 8DD;; I guess it CAN be lemons though...? ^^;; Maybe it's cause I see more mango trees than lemons around here. xDD;;
