hmm... any last suggestions for mine, I'm feeling a bit lackluster about it but I do like it

I would still say lemon, and not because of I am famaliar with them. xD There are none where I live. But I have seen both. The trees and growth themselves are actually quite similar. However, the shade of yellow you used is more lemony. Plus, the chicky itself reminds me of a lemon in shape.

AND OMG! You guys should totally see the size of the frickin lemons they grow at Epcot!!! (one the Disney's parks). You can make a gallon of fresh lemonade with them. My dad says that the ones his Oma used to grow were only like, a third or fourth of the size (which is still big for a lemon). I wonder if they had mango trees too...

well I submitted mine as is, just hope it doesn't get me eliminated xD

I've never had dried apricots. What do they taste like?

They're really tasty. I love them. :D But it's hard to explain the flavor. They don't taste like apricots per se. I mean, they do, but as much as a grape tastes like a raisin... I guess you'd just have to try them. XP

I like apricot preserves. Except for when I get a big hunk of apricot. They're tasty, but the texture is so icky. D:

Haha. My avatar is such a fluke right now. Seriously, all I did was sit there and put on every blue common I owned and waited to see what the outcome looked like. It definitely wasn't something that I worked on.

Cami, they're a bit tarter than fresh apricots from my experience. I prefer them fresh because sometimes when they're the dried apricots, they can be a little hard to eat because their texture is so tough. But they're still yummy.
