I have some 5K worth of stuff sitting in my shopping cart that's been there for like two months. It just stays there while I buy other things.

I had about 12k worth of stuff sitting in my cart from the st patties update until I just decided that I'd buy it when I wanted to use it... that's pretty much the way I do it, probably the reason I haven't got that many commons xD

I wish I owned more DVDs, except that I want DVDs of tv shows more than I want movies. Why do box sets always have to be so expensive?!?

I've been buying so much stuff for this contest. XD I'd say over half the commons I currently have I bought while working on a outfit for this. Most of the rest I bought because they were half off in events. <<,,

There's not too many box sets I like so I don't have too many. Tudors, Rome, Carnival, and Torchwood pretty much are the only tv shows I'd actually bother to purchase. Rome and Carnival are unfortunately canceled already though. :[ I seriously don't understand how great series' can get cancelled when crap like New York and her adventures trying to get a job are still sponsored. xP I guess people would rather see meaningless shit than have anything with some substance. [/rant]

Blah.
Ay, I'm getting fed up with work. ><
I didn't even get a break today, or a radio headset for that matter.

@ Cami : I'm the same. xDD;; I think more than half of my items are event commons, another few of that from Project Mene, and the rest are just odds and ends I bought while I was on a short break from my CI/EI questing. 8DD;; <3<3

I want to own all of Buffy, all of the new series of Doctor Who (I already have series 2, as soon as I'm not broke I want to get series 1 and then eventually 3 and 4), all of Torchwood... all of Heroes would be awesome too...

gah, each series of Dr Who is $70-100, Torchwood and Heroes are probably about the same... Buffy is only $30 a season, but there are 7. Anyways I'm too poor for my addictions

True that. ;_; <3<3
If my growing DVD collection isn't burning a hole in my pocket, it's my latest shopping sprees this entire summer that has me going broke really fast. D: </3
Plus that new camera I bought... a-and... yeah. >.>;;
I think summer has given me a spending problem, seriously. x_x;;

it's just uni that's sending me broke really... Im in the city all the time so there's all the things there I want to buy, plus coffee practically every day, bus tickets, food sometimes and I have to spend ridiculous amounts on paper and art supplies for my classes D:

Art supplies can get very expensive indeed. D: </3
Coffee everyday can be replaced by apples instead though. =P Since, after all, apples are proven to wake you up more than coffee as it has more sugar and stuff, and it's also relatively cheaper. xDD;;
It's my new healthier alternative. ^^;; Though I still need coffee in my system because I love the taste. 8DD;; <3<3

I'm slowly watching my way through someone else's collection of Buffy box sets. XD I'm too poor for any of my own. I do have an obsession with the $1 rentals from Redbox though. I rent things that I would never watch otherwise. Yesterday I rented "High School Musical 3" which I'm surprised to say I liked a lot. <<,, After going to see Spring Awakening though, I decided that I needed to be reminded that musicals can occasionally be happy. (Seriously, all of the musicals I've seen this year involve someone dying.)

but but... I like coffee D:
coffee is what my uni friends and I do during our breaks xD

I was watching my way through a friend's box sets of Buffy until it all came to a screeching halt because someone else borrowed season 5 months ago and no one seems to be able to get it from him because everyone fails

I considered the gloves, but they're too dark. :c
Thanks, though.

Jesus christ, Seiki... o-o

@ TV show boxset discussion - I haven't really wanted to own many shows. Most of the shows I like air pretty frequently in reruns, so I have no need.
The only show I want to own is LOST. It's kind of important that you see every single episode in order, so if I want someone to start watching that, or I want to relive it, I can't just point them to some syndication run.

Ah, but you can watch ever episode of Lost on ABC's website. That's how I watched it. I guess they realize how important it is for people to start from the beginning.

I own all of Project Runway on DVD... And Ghost Hunters (all given as Christmas gifts to my mom). Which reminds me, I still haven't seen the last two episodes of Season four. >_>;

I want to eventually own Buffy, Heroes, NewsRadio and the various Batman series.

There are a few other series I might want to own (like Lost), but I consider them a lower priority. And I also forgot half of the ones I was going to mention. ._. I sneezed my brain away.

YOU WATCH LOST? *tacklehugs* :heart:
It's the best show ever, but I only know a handful of people who watch it, so I'm always excited to find new people. xD

Yeah, that's true. Except it doesn't work on my computer. :c I tried it once before, it was like "ohfucknooooooooo."
But I just ordered more RAM the other day (I currently have a pitiful 256), and once I can afford it, I'll be ordering even more, and I'll soon be getting a slightly faster internet connection. So I should be able to watch it on the website soon.
I had been re-watching it on G4 with my parents (it was their first time seeing it, but the second time for me) but then G4 stopped airing it right in the middle of it! >:O So uhm, fuck you, G4. >:
But so yeah, my parents need to see it. Unfortunately, it's not so comfortable to sit around the computer to watch it as it is to sit in the living room watching it on the TV. :c

Agreed. :B

My family signed up for a free month of Netflix the other day - which I have been abusing terribly - and we've tried to watch two movies via the streaming feature. Which means loading up the laptop and finding a position for three or four adults to sit and see properly and hear properly. Seeing properly is okay, since it's only three or four of us and we have a 17 inch monitor on the laptop. It's hearing properly that's a problem. My mom doesn't have great hearing and even at full blast the laptop doesn't do a good job. And none of our external speakers seem to do any better (actually, they tend to do worse). She seems to be able to hear okay if she pays careful attention, but if you added any others in our family (say, my other brother and his wife), it'd be a problem to watch on the computer.

...So that's why purchasing the DVDs is better.

That's very true. I tend to watch shows on split screen while playing tetris or doing other mindless stuff online, so its actually convenient to use the computer, but it really doesn't work for more than one person.

Cherry: I do! D: I actually started because I know lots of people who watch it. XD It wasn't at all what I expected (in a good way). I still need to watch the season finale though. One of my friends is getting mad at me because he wants to discuss it and I keep putting off watching it.

CK - Yeah, I bet that'd be hard. D: And we don't even have a laptop. >< (well, we technically do, but it's broken. Those things break so easily)

Cami - Put off watching the season finale. D: It's going to make you go into a rage and hold the entirety of the ABC network at gunpoint so they'll air the next episode.
If you thought you knew what a cliffhanger was... dear god. D: I couldn't think straight for fifteen minutes after because it was just like... whoa.
I mean, it was good, but... CHRIST WHAT HAPPENS NEXT RAAAAGGEEE CHERRY SMASH

...remind me never to piss you off Cherry xD<3

I've considered getting into Lost multiple times, but every time someone said to me that at first it's great but then everything just gets out of hand and it's crazy and nothing makes sense so it's not worth so, so I just picked something else.
If I need another series to keep me occupied after Supernatural I may watch Lost I suppose xD
