I want to see that.
Its upsetting to hear everyone around me complain about how they dont want to see it, but with hardly any reasons to back it up.

oh no no no no no.
Its going to be like every other Will Ferrell movie with crappy dialogue that's not funny with an actor who isn't capable of doing it justice. And you can't take an entire television series and just flip it into a movie. It doesn't work out. Name a movie inspired by a TV series that was actually good.

Seiki's back! Now I can ask my overly annoying repetitive questions. XDD;
@ Seiki - Was the chocolate syrup editing the items? Or is just recolouring allowed? (If we don't add more to it, etc.)
On another note, I've disliked Will since I saw Elf.
He just, creeps me out a little bit, and I don't find many of his movies amusing.

Seiki's right.
Name a good movie based on a book. But then again, it's always debatable.
I'm not a Will Ferrell fan, trust me, I barely got through Anchorman.
But I really liked Danny McBride. xD He's hilarious.
I honestly thought there could have been more to the plot, but I've never seen the series, so I'm sure that affects my point of view.

Books yes, television shows, no.
Recolors aren't allowed. That's one of the things I didn't want contestants to do with photoshop. It actually says in the FAQs that the use of photoshop isn't meant for editing items. That includes recolors.

@Seiki: I loved The Fugitive and that one was based on a TV series. Get Smart wasn't terrible, but also not the best, but Serenity was fantastic. *could probably think of more*
EDIT: Here's a list of 50 of the "best" TV to movie adaptations: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/guides...v_adaptations/

Yay for not being eliminated! :D <3 I know my outfit didn't turn out quite as awesome as I would have liked, but as hard as I tried I couldn't come up with better simple layering that didn't look like Cherry-copy. I wish I would have known we could submit a description since I just tossed that picture in there just in case. XD
I have an idea of what I want to do for this challenge, but unfortunately I'm stuck with crappy internets... >__> We'll see. *may have to run back and forth between my computer with Photoshop and my bro's laptop that sometimes has internet*

Ferra: Stop outdoing me. ;-; I took that challenge.
Speaking of movies based on TV shows, anyone seen the Star Trek movie that just came out? I got dragged to it by a couple of male friends, having never seen anything else Star Trek, but I enjoyed it quite a bit. Funnier than I expected Star Trek to be.

Star Trek gets a bad rap (maybe thanks to that crappy newest series they had). XD I loved the Next Generation when I was growing up. <3 *brings back fond memories* I haven't had a chance to see the new movie though.

@Cami: I loved the Star Trek movie! I'm actually a fan, mostly because my dad and older brother loved the tv series, but I never could get into the original series. I wasn't really expecting much, especially since Star Trek had been sucking a lot lately, but I was really surprised! I couldn't stop laughing at some parts! :D
And am I the only one who thought the new Chekov was adorable? :heart:

I had to look up which one was Chekov, but yes, he was awesome. XD
/looking through Ferra's list/ Mission Impossible, definitely. And I loved the Muppets Movie when I was a kid. My brother and his wife had Rainbow Connection as their song for the first dance at their wedding.
The Rugrats movie is absolutely adorable, and I liked The Simpsons movie despite hating that show. XD
Oh, and my roommate loved the Sex in the City movie, but she was obsessed with that show. I was never able to get into it.

I'm NOT a Star Trek fan, and so I'm not even going to bother, even though Harold's in it. x] Shoot, if Kumar was I'd see it just for him. :drools at Kal: <33
On the topic of movies, anyone seen the Hangover? I'm dying to go see it even though no one wants to go with me. It looks like it's hilarious and my kind of humor.

@Donna: The new Star Trek movie is actually really good for non-fans. My sister was dragged to see it and she ended up loving it, despite the fact that she pretty much hates the show.
And I love Kal Penn too! I'm so sad that he's no longer on House. ;___;

Poor Star Trek. *loves on it* I really want to start watching The Next Generation again but I don't think it's on basic cable anymore. The DVD sets for it are huuuuge so I'm not sure I'll be buying one any time soon. It is funny to see early episodes compared to the later ones though. XD You can gauge the seasons by the dearth of Riker's beard. XD

Not to get off on a rant here, but I hate bachelor[ette] parties in general. >> Who the hell thought it was a good idea to kick off a marriage with the attitude of "Your life is gone after this, this is your last night of fun." Plus, the whole strippers thing (although not EVERY bachelor party does that, in some they just get drunk, but it's the stereotypical one) is just... wrong. You're getting fucking married! >< If you want to get drunk and look at boobies with your friends, do it when you're not in a serious, committed relationship. It's just... it's just really wrong. ><
...
Yeah, no one should ever mention bachelor parties around me or I do that. xD
EDIT: Oh, and on the Star Trek conversation...
For a few years I was a really really really huge trekkie. ._ . TNG was my favorite.
I can't even watch Star Trek now because of that whole phase. I just OD'd so hard and was a huge fangirl (it happens when you're a 13 year old girl. You fangirl over something), so anything about star trek just brings that whole phase back and I'm just like "NO. RUN AWAY."
I thought the new star trek movie looked really stupid, but not for those reasons. The previews just made it look like an expendable crash-bang-action-sequence-cheap-laugh-here'ssometitties-explosion flick, and I really hate movies like that. If a movie doesn't really make you think (or really laugh), I hate it. xD
(this post will begin to illustrate to you how I have a very big, unwavering opinion on everything)

@Cami: It had 7 seasons and 178 episodes according to Wikipedia. It's also the longest running of any Star Trek series so far: 1987 - 1994.
@Cherry: If it was my fiance I'd let him have his fun. *shrugs* As long as he didn't go to Vegas and wind up married to some other girl.

Ferra - If it was my fiance and he wanted to go look at some strange woman's boobies and act like being married to be is the end of everything, I'd be reconsidering just how solid this marriage would be starting out to be. xD;
If he wants to go "out with the guys" and have ("clean," I guess) fun, then he can go right ahead. But not a party that is somehow tied to the marriage. I don't get that either. If you're about to commit to the other person for the rest of your life, why celebrate it separately? xDD I'd want to celebrate it with my hubby-to-be.
