Aww, don't be so hard on the guy. Then again I was raised around guys whose prerequisites for a "good movie" is if it has explosions and titties, so I guess ogling other women doesn't bother me so much if I know the guy is committed. (But I've yet to reach that stage of commitment anyways, so what do I know. XD)

edit: On the topic of guys going out to have good "clean" fun, I know many men [and some of my ex's] whose idea of hanging out with the guys at the end of the week is a bar and/or strip club. It's a guy thing that I don't understand [or for that matter even like xP]

Cherry: I've been to many bachelorette parties, and none of them were anything like the stereotypical stripper party of booze. Of course, I think that's more often shown with guys.

Really, I don't see what the big deal is. So the guy drinks and looks at half naked women. There's a big difference between desiring someone and acting on those desires. I really don't think I'd care if I were married to a guy and he was still going to a strip club with his friends. It's just looking. It's harmless.

Thats really funny that you mention that because I was just watching Herald and Kumar when you said that (wasn't actually talking to anyone online since I was busy watching). Rather ironic, but yeah, they're rather funny at times, and he is rather attractive. Not Kumar, though. lol

Yeah, there's a difference, but I just don't think desiring someone else when you're with someone is okay.
I may think some other people are attractive, but I certainly wouldn't say that I desire them. The only person I want to be with is my boyfriend. And if things are going well with him, I'm not even that interested in even noticing that someone else is attractive.
I just think the person you're with should be "enough for you."
I don't think looking is harmless.

(and I know this seems hypocritical with a guy in my signature with "omfg hot" and "God" around him. "God" is in reference to his musical talent, not his looks. And I was just exaggerating for the lulz with the "omfg hot" part.)

... and I guess I have a bit of a confession to make. You know how they made the Speed Racer movie adaptation off of the series from the sixties? Well, let me just tell you I was the biggest Speed Racer fan when I was little and I would watch the reruns on television (yes I watched crappy sixties animations), and I'd been meaning to see the movie which I hadn't gotten around to yet. I saw it on Saturday and let me just tell you all, I have an obsession. I've watched it at least once a day every day since then. I downloaded it just so that I could watch it over and over (and return it to Netflix so I could get my next DVD XD).

I did like the first Transformers movie quite a bit actually, so I am excited to see the new one.


I also :heart: the Star Trek movie VERY MUCH. I saw it twice in theaters and would totally go see it again. I watched the original Star Trek on TV Land when I was little, so I can appreciate all the cheesy lines they put into the new movie. It really was awesome. And of course Zachary Quinto = :heart:, even if he is creepy. :D

I was sad everyone seemed to hate the new Speed Racer movie. D: I actually really liked that one! I used to watch the old show too.

I also like Transformers for basically the same reason. XD

Nope. Not really a Shia LaBeouf fan. Ever since Even Stevens I've disliked him. I don't think he's a good actor at all. And he looks weird xD I really just like it for the cars XD They're pretty. Plus, they have a really good CGI team going for them.

And the Star Trek movie = <33333 omg, zachary quinto was the most amazing Spock haha. You know I actually went back and watched a season of 24 just because he was in it that season? XD I hate that show, but I couldn't help myself.

I thought they did a really good job with Speed Racer. They changed up a bit, but overall I think it did a good job portraying the characters well and it stuck pretty much to the overall feel of the series. I don't remember the plot of the series well, but I remember certain things that they got the details of done really well in the transition.
