You bet.
I think that some of the contestants can be like that too

Well, let me put it this way -

Does anyone find my comments useful and/or interesting?

Because if they don't, I'll ask Seiki to find a different judge. If people feel I'm not doing my job as a judge properly and whatever, then there's no point in me spending hours on judging if no one cares for it.

I actually haven't read all the judges comments.
I'm too tired to right now.

I dont think that anyone is upset by your judgings, CK.
They're just stating that you have a different way of wording things and seem to judge a litte differently. Yet everyone judges in their own way, and thats a good thing. Judging panel should be diverse.

we never said you were necessarily doing it wrong
i was just asking from how you were viewing the entries
cause it seemed like you were interpretting it differently
in which you werent
and i was actually my mistake

I don't think there's anything wrong with your judging CK, it's a different perspective and that can be really useful

although reading all the other judges comments I keep feeling like I'm not picking up on all the same things that everyone else is xD
my opinions seem to be quite different to the other judges for some of the entries

Congratz to Ferra for owning this challenge!
And a little pet on the back to me for not getting myself eliminated xD

@CK: I see no problem with your judgings, isn't the purpose of judging to have as many different angles and critiques as possible?

Whereabouts in Missouri do you live? XD Eroy's from around here too, but she's on the Kansas side of KC. :D

Congrats Ferra!! Your outfit was one of my favorites. :D

I was a bit shocked reading the judges' comments this time around actually. A lot were pretty harsh. I'm glad I'm not actually in this cycle. It's kinda scary! :o

I don't think you're doing anything wrong, CK, as I've already expressed, and I think it's absolutely ridiculous that anyone would want the judges to be completely unified and judge in the same way.

gfanjlfdnj
i never said they had to be unified
just drop the subject

@sizz;;
:/
thats the way it should be
this isnt some sissy contest
the first cycle of this was killer
the judges were harsh
and there were no liberties
like i made sandal shoe boot thingies
and they were like
why is your person wearing sandals and socks?
imo the judges are still too easy

Draw a straight, short line inwards from Saint Louis. About an hour by highway. You?

@Ese: I didn't say it was a bad thing that the judges were harsh. I realize that's part of the deal. I was just commenting on the harshness of the comments during this particular challenge compared to last week's. And while I realize that some contestants didn't particularly follow the guidelines, I think a lot of the judges wrote those avatars off with short/snappy comments which were not exactly helpful.

I don't agree that the judges are too easy though, especially when I look at the number scores... If the winning avatar got a 43.2/50, I wouldn't say that the scores were too high. If all of the scores were over 35, that would be a different thing. But looking at the scores, a lot of them are between 25 and 35 -- a totally average and appropriate range for scores to come from -- hence, I don't think the judges are too easy or too harsh.

@Seiki: Thanks. :D

@Cherry: Yep, I'm in KC. XD

thats understandable
a lot of times
bitchiness comes with harshness
it can hard to define the two

Yeah, near O'Fallon. A bit farther out, but near it.

Contestants need to make an avi that has blue and yellow and then "choose a team" by adding either red or black.

"In this color challenge, you must take the colors of the game stand and pick a side (red or black) and make an avatar based on those colors. You will be allowed your choice of accent color, however, that color must be as minimal as possible."

I didn't think it could have been any more clear than it already was. : (

I think its the "colors of the game stand" that kind of throw people off.
I am not sure that I would have caught that as being the yellow and blue either.

But if people dont understand thatn we can just fill them in here. Its okay. ^^

Well I would have said game board, but there isn't really a board as much as there is a stand.
