As for your avatar ferra, it seems almost a little too expensive for a maid who is described not to have much to show for her time serving as maid of the household. The outfit setup is nice, but its flow is off, causing some distraction for me.

@Winter: I actually was really unsatisfied with the description of Mrs. White on the site Seiki linked. =/ I found this page instead that gives a better description (in my opinion). Checking up on the wikipedia page, it also mentioned this:

Dr. Black/Mr. Body are the same person (i.e. the guy that's murdered) but the name depends on the game version since it varies in different countries.

EDIT: I wasn't going for a specific version, since none of them have darker skin and this particular outfit, but rather playing with the concept of her as a bitter, conniving house-servant, who has been having an illicit affair with Mr. Body and knows all of his secrets.

Some versions she is depicted as old, and others as young too.

I would suggest including black in your avatar. Every image I see depicted of her uses it. :/

I know, I was debating about that, but I really hate that she always wears black even though she's called Mrs. White and her pawn is white. It sort of defeats the purpose for me when everyone else actually does match their color. That's why I attempted a white and lighter colored outfit with darker skin instead. An inverse of the norm, if you will. XD

However, that might be bad since this was meant to be a direct cosplay?

EDIT: Not really related, but I like this picture someone made depicting "Mrs. White". They just took a variety of actors' pictures and made them into the different clue characters, but I like their version - it captures the attitude very well, I think.

Have any of you guys watched the movie "Clue"? It's one of my favorites and since no one has mentioned the versions of the characters from the movie, I wonder if you hadn't realized it existed. It's a great movie.

In the movie, Mrs. White (for example) isn't a maid or cook, but one of the guests. The maid is a French maid and an entirely different character. (Same with the cook.)

Sounds like its all mixed up. lol

I love the movie, but unfortunately Mrs. White is one of my least favorite characters in it, and again she doesn't wear any white at all. =/

I want to watch that movie again sometime. XD I love that they have different endings. They all are okay, but I love the last one.

I love Clue, in all it's incarnation. XD I've seen the movie, read the book series, and played it both in real life and on the computer game. D: Though my computer game version of it was always messing up, which drove me nuts.

Edit: Oh, Ferra, I actually quite liked your Mrs. White. My only thing with it was I had absolutely no idea what her weapon was. So, of course, I go through the whole stage of looking it up, and wondering why you wouldn't use the dagger (a plentiful item on Mene) in your avie, and then I went back and looked at your avie again and realized it was there! It just blended in so well that I didn't notice it at all.

I'm still deciding if I have an issue with this.

Lol! XD There are multiple knife-type items, but that is one of the few I would actually consider a "dagger" (most are longer swords). I purposely wanted it to blend in a bit since the point of the game is that you don't know who the murderer is and are trying to find out.

I've seen the movie, but it's been soooo long since I did. I remember enjoying it and thinking it was funny, but like I said, it was such a long time ago, I don't know if I'd still like it. I think I would though, I need to watch it again.

If I remember correctly from the books (which I haven't read since grade school), She was very much into the money and jewels, so maybe you should add some jewelry. Maybe get some silver or gold in there.

Maybe green jewelry would be a good way to play up the jewelry and symbolize the money? Green eyes, accessories, green shoes, green purse?

I like that idea, but too much red and green could look christmasy.
