Well I buy items based on whether or not I think I'll use them. There are items on Menewsha that I like, but wouldn't buy because I don't see myself using them either because they're too big or they don't fit my style.

Ferra: I prefer the third one. It takes little skill to do a direct cosplay.

I like the looks of the first two better. I don't like the color combination in the third. ::shrugs:: Personal thing, though.

If it helps any, I like the third best Ferra. I like how you took an original spin on it, and the detail and thought that went behind it with the dagger hidden to make it part of the game and mystery. I honestly think it's a bit of a cop out to do a simple literal cosplay. Project Mene is to improve one's fashion sense and determine who has "the best". If you have a simple "dress like this character" challenge, what would be the point?

Well given the responses I think I'll try if I can't mesh 2 & 3 together. I wanted to use black as the accent originally in the first one I made, but I couldn't get it to look quite right so I picked darker skin instead. I'll give it another shot though. :yes:

The last commons update we had was in May with the ronin commons, IIRC.

We have a lot piled up, it's just making the update fairly balanced that's holding things up. Either way, you'll see more items in August.

I was just asking because my backup plan is to submit my original cosplay of Miss Scarlet with the library setting. If other people do the library thing too, then my cosplay will end up being really plain and unoriginal. :sweat:

But I really liked how the books and everything looked with your avatar--it was like a professor's study rooom. Gah, I need to make my character's actual outfit look more original and not depend on bg items for originality. ;___;

Sadly, though, i've offered up on a lot of commons that someone may be selling in the exchange that I would like. If they say yes to everything, then it would mean quite a few k of gold. D:
