@seiki- me tooo I loooooove them, lol it just seems the sparklie vamps are peoples biggest complaint....so I figured you where on that side xP

@cherry- now even better! And yeah, I've always had alot of trouble balancing the orange especially but I like orange...so I tend to use it alot xP The light blue is a toughie as well...so given the circumstances I think you did fantastic.

@winter- I can feel equestrian in that (or however it is spelled)

It was a cute dress, but it didn't scream "red carpet" to me... Maybe at the VMAs or the Grammys... I always think Oscars when I think "red carpet," so a lot of the designs were pretty fail IMO.

That red billowy thing that all the judges liked so much confused me. I thought it was hideous.

Well here's my first try. XD I decided to make mine based on the Money Bag token.


I wanted to make at least one male avatar for Project Mene, so I'm trying to make it work. XD Unfortunately the MAC is super out of date when it comes to guy stuff.

I think it's a nice male avatar Ferra, but to be honest, I don't think that alone would win it.

Very true. I'm not sure how I'm going to balance sticking to the theme while still making it fancy enough. I'll make a girl avatar if I have to, but Monopoly reminds me more of mid 1900s gentlemen. XD

Sizzla: But they specifically said that it could be any red carpet and listed off some examples. I definitely think his outfit fit for the video music awards, which I think is what he said he was going for.

Though I also wouldn't say it was my favorite dress of the bunch. I can't really remember any of the dresses anymore, though (despite having just watched this episode like two hours ago).

I always figure on these shows that you need to be constantly doing things different than what's currently in style to be a successful designer (after all, the things that are currently popular already exist, and they're looking for people able to create the next big style), so the things I really like are probably too similar to today's style and they're looking for something that stands out.

Edit: Wow, when I started writing that post, Sizz was the last person to post.

It's a nice enough outfit, Ferra, but I agree that I don't think it would win.

It'd definitely be inappropriate for the Oscars or something. But as I think it was for the VMAs, it wad fine.
If I were a celebrity, I would have totally worn that dress. xD It's sooo cute.
But I would have added something bright... Like a pendant necklace in some bright color and some matching patent pumps. :D (If I can pretend I'm a celebrity, I can also pretend I can walk in pumps >>)

My problem with the winning dress, is rather than that off-white/creamy color he used for the ruffles section, he should have chose a bolder color or actually gone with white, though preferably just used a bolder color. I think that had it been perhaps a pink or a purple instead of what he chose, it would have been more fun.

Seiki: I'll agree with that.

Edit: You know, entirely because of the can challenge last season, I always see the crown part of the crown veil as the top of a soda can.

Er... it looked pink to me. oO Grayish pink.

lol, good point, I tend to do similar things but then I try and disassociate myself from that (but I fail miserably) cause when someone desides to change it throws me off for awhile.
