You know, my sister needs to stop making false arrangements and then fail to tell me they didn't come through. I am sick and tired of it. -_-
Cherry- Before the pits, the bad image dog was the doberman. What fighters like about APBT is that they are very strong dogs that can take a lot of pain. My dumbass Soldier when he was one would not move out of the way of our when my dad was going into the backyard, so my dad idled forward, with his foot on the break just in case, expecting the dumb dog to move. Nope, there was the "thump" and here comes soldiers walking around the car looking at us like we were crazy...and he put a dent in the truck. That dog is hard headed in all sense of the words. xD
But they have one of the highest rated temperments.
Right now all my dogs are depressed though. At least I hope it is depressed and not sick.
Donna- It is funny though, since not many people can spot a real pit bull. In fact, I did one of my powerpoints of it at school and I believe there was only one person who got it right. xD Dogs that have more pit in them than not generally do not have that bulky build. xD
But yeah, my mom said she would never have one, and everyone had that stereotype on her side of the family...well...she can't deny that our dogs our sweet. She does not like soldier though...she calls him evil. So her entire side of the family thinks he is...My "Aunt" Dottie said he went to bite her. I say good for him, and he should have. She has no right to yell at my dogs every time she comes over. She is a stranger, looks like a man, and quite frankly is the rudest red neck I have ever met. Soldier only goes into protection mode around males and grown dogs who come on to our property that he has never seen. Or if we feel threatened. And he is kind of protective over me. x.x Silly Dog. But far from evil.
He makes a good pillow. xD

Your dogs probably are depressed. :( Just keep an eye on them. Maybe take them to that friend of yours so s/he can check them out just to make sure?
I know when my grandma's dog Bert died, her other two were depressed. And then when Gus had to be put down, her remaining dog was depressed again.
That's kind of funny how your dog just let the car run into him... xD
And yeah, most people can't even tell a pit from other dogs. >> Hell, I can't even half the time.
I took this test online that had, like, two pictures of pit bulls mixed in with pictures of other dogs of similar sizes. I only found one of the pits and chose a few non-pits.
I swear one of my grandma's dogs is mixed with a pit... He has the markings, ears, and howl of a beagle, but he has a pitbull like build. She insists he's mixed with a basset, but... then why is he so big and muscular. xD
Here's a photo of his profile. Any clue? xD

We think it is just depression. I am pretty positive in fact, since they will still eat. and act goofy. xD Buster just...mothers? puppies and soldier, despite liking to knock the puppy down played with him a lot. And PJ was the first dog wolfman actually got attached to.
Eh, that isn't the build of a pit xD In fact, pure bred APBT usuall do not have the big bulky muscular build.
Their build is usually closer to this:

Do you have a picture of his face?

Aww. D: Give them lots of hugs. D:
Yeah, maybe not. But he's not a basset, I know that much! xD
Yeah, here's a picture of his face.
That's from when he was a puppy, though. His body is much bigger now. His face is about the same, though. Just judge his body from the other (more recent) picture, since in this one he had just recently been adopted, so he didn't have a lot of weight on him. >< He looks so underfed. D:

My brother has a pit who is even more adorably friendly and good-natured than any of the other dogs we've owned in the last few years... And all of the other dogs we have had in the last few years have been full or part cocker spaniel, which are known for being really friendly dogs, right?
Sorry I didn't meet up with you, WWG! But perhaps a bit for the best today, considering before and after the Ghost Hunters panel this afternoon my family had had convention staff be very rude to us for no reason and we were irritated. (Well, okay, not directly after the TAPS panel, but shortly after.)

Actually...it depends on the breed of cockerspaniel. xD Some have better temperments than others. And the first dog we had was a cocker spaniel and he turned on me before he died (he got into rat poison that prisoners spray in ditches when they clean them out) and bit me in the face when he was a pup. So yeah. I have not had a good experience with them. I do not know which line of spaniel he was though. But I can't complain. He was protective over us and saved me from getting bit a couple of times.Ninja dog xD And then we would comfort...then get bit. But, I have to look from another stand point: He ran away from home one time and these bastards took him in and when he finally found him, since they put up signs asking for a reward, we swear he was beat. Smokey was never the same after that...
x.x And we get all the stray dogs. Literally. x.x
When any dog in teh neighborhood gets loose, it seems we find them around our house. x.x
Cherry-. there may be basset in his blood somewhere, but it does not look like a lot. There might be some bully breed in him though, looking at head shape. Not quite sure pit though. The close That dog clearly had beagle in him though. His head shape makes me wonder if he has some sort of bully breed in him though. He also has some height for being and beagle/basset mix. i don't know though. xD He is straight up mutt though xD

My first guess at PJ's breed was actually Beagle, so I clearly have no idea what I'm talking about. XD
My brother's dog is a Peekapoo, and she is the most adorably friendly dog ever. She only barks if she's scared by something, almost never growls, and mostly just wants to sit on laps and play with her toys.

Congrats Ferra!! :XD I have to say, I loved the variety of your outfits this cycle. I think you showed just how versatile you are, and I think the win was deserved. Cherry and Winter, you both also did a fantastic job. You've always put together awesome avatars, so I want to applaud you for your fine work during this cycle. :D

Why don't you try a text banner?
I use them for my threads. They're easily changed, simple, but still attractive.
my quest list is a good example. I think it looks pretty attractive, but all I did was font sizes, colors, and bullet points.
(Other examples: [x], [x], [x], [x])
It really only takes, like, three minutes of editing (making it bigger, adjusting the shades, experimenting with decorative punctuation, etc.) to try. If you don't like it, you lost little time. If you do, huzzah.
