Thank you Iro <3
Seiki and Cami- Extra contestants might make this a little more interesting and perhaps challenging. Like...i dunno...Hells kitchen except not involving food? Team battles as Cami said.

Teamwork might be hard to do online since some people aren't online at the same time.
But having the two lowest be eliminated one round would be interesting.

Well if everyone does let me know that they can still participate then we would have 12 contestants this cycle. With two different teams challenges.

Whoo, new round! :)
I was a Project Mene virgin when I competed. XD But I guess it would be a far cry to call me a newbie.

I think a team challenge could be fun. You'd both be on the same theme and have to coordinate your outfits, while still each outfit having a unique look.
Edit: I wouldn't have fit the less than six months on the site requirement my first time competing. XD

I waited over two years.... like 2 years, 5 months? I kept thinking I should compete, but I was under the assumption MACs weren't allowed.

The teams challenges would have to be like how Cami described them. Two contestants work together to coordinate their avatars with each other and yet still have their own unique outfits. I've done it before with PM, so its nothing new.
So far I have two contestant confirmations xD

Hay everyone  I just got accepted as a contestant, but I don't really have a large inventory or golds to finance a bigger one. I'm wondering if it's still okay for me to be in the contest?
Edit: I just re-read the rools and I saw that we can use MAC. Yay! I'm reel excited :D

No, it's not. But all of my entries last cycle were MACed. As long as you have some knowledge of an image editing program (in my case, Photoshop) you can add in the facial features/hair and make minor tweaks when the MAC doesn't quite match Mene's layering.
Also, I made a point to manually add in a lot of items and switched a few items to unisex in order to make MACing easier. It's kind of a pain, but it's a good alternative for people who don't have very large inventories/gold.

Adding items to MAC isn't so bad, but I really want to add hairstyles and I don't have the time or energy to try to figure that out :[

@Keyori: I found the easiest way for me to do hairstyles with MACs is to make my outfit with a hairstyle that's unobtrusive, then change my real avatar to the base I want to use (skin, eyes, hair, etc.), then take the two and combine them in Photoshop. If you know how to use an image editing program well, it's actually pretty easy and doesn't take a lot of time.
If I knew how to work the hairs in MAC I would, but when I tried replacing one it didn't go very well. XD It's definitely not as easy as adding in clothes. I do switch my base a lot in the MAC and add eyebrows since that's simple to do.
Make sure you're MACs have eyebrows, everyone! *big pet peeve of mine* I'll send you a pic of a base with eyebrows if I have to. XD

Well I just keep a set of blank bases (with no facial features aside from eyebrows) in my main MAC folder and switch the name to "FemaleBase1.gif" or "MaleBase1.gif" depending on which one I want to use. Unfortunately, if you make your skin darker than base 2, you'll notice the eyes stand out since the skin color around them is set to match base 1.
Usually I'll fix facial features in Photoshop since it's a lot less time consuming for me, but you can change the MAC eyes and mouths if you want by replacing the parts found in the "Facial" folder. You have to create them yourselves, which would require the use of an image editing program anyway, and it's kind of a pain to keep switching them manually whenever you change your skin tone.
Whatever you do, I recommend keeping the originals saved as a backup. Usually I'll just leave them in the same folder and give them a different number at the end of the image name.

Yeah, I could do that, but really I just wish I knew javascript so I could just redo the whole program myself xD
The hard part has already been done really, modifying the existing program isn't nearly as difficult. But I have very little knowledge of programming and no time to learn it and fix up MAC :/
I need to get some of my comp sci friends on this, maybe I can bribe them into updating xD

@Keyori: I feel the same way. Darn my lack of programing knowledge! :illgetu: For now, since I'm pretty quick when it comes to image editing, I've just found my own workaround.
Be sure to share if you do get it updated! XD The problem I found when I added in more items was that I couldn't get the scroll bar to accommodate them.
