Ah, that's quite true. Stereotypes often do not translate well internationally and this has to standalone without a description. :sweat:
I was actually thinking just earlier today how even standard "American" stereotypes perpetuated on TV don't seem to match up with any real experience I've encountered. Like how a lot of shows seem obsessed with the concept of teens going off to party hard during Spring Break when I don't think I've met a single person who's actually done that where I live. XD

For a second there, I looked at your avi, and thought you were Iro xD
Speaking of stereotypes.
Well, I believe that you can see stereotypes everywhere, if you just believe them to be reality. For example, a stereotype in homosexual relationships is that there is always 'a man' in the relationship and 'a female'. If you believe this to be true, then of course you will look for signs that confirm this thoughts!

I would be curious about that actually, Hime. xDD;; I'm pertaining to your other post, btw. XP
And hmm... I might actually find American stereotypes hard, considering I'm not American. ^^;; I can probably keep up though. At least, I'm hoping I'll be able to. If not... sorry in advance if I don't get you because of my different culture? xDD;;

I'd like to do an Aussie bogan sterotype... but 1. I don't know how well that would translate onto an avatar, 2. I don't think anyone other than an Aussie really gets what a bogan is... and going for the "g'day, throw another shrimp on the barbie" stereotype would be hard to portray and I don't know if anyone would be able to get it just from looking... :/

It is filling, but light and crisp. =) And not at all hot heat-wise, more like you feel a sense of warmth when you eat it. <3
It's really hard to describe.. you should just try some yourself. =)

Try some what Ari?
The thing with stereotyping in the US is that its all such an exaggeration. Even something as simple as saying that a person is gay can be exploded into a thousand rainbow items and girly features. Or that hippies are all peace and flowers and happiness. Even if you don't live here, our stereotypes translate into pretty much every culture relatively easily in my opinion.
Teenage stereotypes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia has a good list of different stereotypes associated among teenagers here.

@Seiki: I lol'd at the last entry. I wouldn't consider "The Physicist" as a teen stereotype, and it's funny that it links to the page on Gordon Freeman. XD

I didn't actually look at the individual description. Just the overall list. I thought it was a good base for those who aren't quite as familiar with american stereotypes.
