Alice is a blonde, but CK doesn't change her hair. Maybe once a year she changes it, for an hour or so haha.

I just change my avi's hair to what ever suits the outfit the most. I dont really care too much about realism, since the outfits the avi wears aren't really all that real and not really something that I would wear.

well she isn't always necessarily blonde. In the disney film she is, but I don't remember it ever stating her hair colour in the book, so she's had lots of different hair colours in different interpretations

and her dress isn't always blue either ^^
I've seen interpretations of Alice with a yellow dress

it's just disney that made the blonde hair, blue dress version of Alice so widely recognised

Yeah - I never change my hair/eyes unless I'm trying to make a specific interpretation of a character (ie: Disney's Alice or Cooking Mama). xD If it's "myself" or a fairy tale character whose looks aren't specified directly, I'll just use my usual. xD I get confused if my avatar doesn't look like I'm used to. :x Even changing the hair color throws me off and I go, "wtf, why is someone quoting what I said earlier without quotes? D:<"

I intend to read the Alice books. I never have and I'd like to know the "proper" versions of them to get away from specifically what Disney tells us is Alice.

I read both Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. This past summer, actually.

They're very good if you like fantasy.

CK: There's a couple versions on Google Books. The ones I read had the original illustrations even 8D
