That's true. Where I'm from originally, it's very humid and hot. Here, it's usually dry and cold. I'm fond of the cold weather, until it sinks below zero or starts sleeting. Then, I'm not too happy.

I have the same weather here, too, Slow and Seiki.
Central Cali. We've gotten a lot of fires throughout all of California before. It gets so dry.
It can get really humid, too, in my area, though. We have a lot of orchards all around, and it makes the air really heavy.

In my town, the highest I can remember it getting is 116. And we're only central Cali. I couldn't imagine how hot the deserts must get.

I stay in Michigan right now, lol. Essentially, it's winter for most of the year, and as soon as it's warm enough to do construction, whether new or remedial, they get to work until winter comes back. XDD"

You Know You're In Arizona When ....
these are all true.
Luenola, we have summer and construction. Even though it's a million degrees outside, for around 300 days of the year, there's always construction and roadwork. annoying.

I laugh at all of them because they're so true. Pretty much everything listed is something that I've done/seen.

I was going through and reading them to my mom and just started cracking up. And she was just like "Thats really gross..."

The whole "Soda/Pop" thing is annoying. Why can't we all just call it the same thing? I say soda personally. Pop just sounds kind of.. hickish. No offense to anyone, but my family is from Oklahoma and they're pretty hicky most of the time. And they say "pop", which annoys the hell out of me. I've never called soda pop.

Ah, as long as I know what people are talking about, I'm not particular which of those two they use. What annoys me is when every kind of carbonated/fountain drink is called "Coke." :stare:

in Australia we call it soft drink ^^
but mostly we just call each drink by it's individual name... most people wouldn't say "I'm going to get a soft drink" we say "I'm going to get a Coke" (or whatever) or "can you get some soft drinks?" if we're talking about more than one type...
I've always thought that pop was the british way of saying it, while soda is what Americans say

*laughs* I often ask in restaurants, "Do you have Dr. Pepper? No? Then just water is fine, thanks." That's pretty much the only soda I really enjoy. XD"

I don't especially like it, but it's good when I need to stay awake. The combination of caffeine and sugar is useful on all-nighters. XD"

Joins in the "you know you're from" discussion. :B Here's the one for Western Washington: You Know You're From Western Washington If...
I like how they specify it's Western Washington, since it's true that the culture on the opposite sides of the mountain range are very, very different.

coffee is better. And if I really need to stay awake, I'll drink it black. I feel when I add cream and sugar, it takes away the coffee's potency.
anyways, I'm off to bed. talk to you all later : ) good night!
