Suona: XD Not if you're pronouncing it correctly. People at my college used to call it Misery all the time, though.

Yeah, but even when pronounced right it sounds kind of like it. Just the 'e' sounds more like a 'u'

Haha. It would actually be kind of cute, huh?
Would be a cool outfit.
Oh, and the reason I said yours is too busy is mainly because of the wings and bonnet and a little bit of the capricorn. Otherwise, I love the layering you have on the body. Its really good.

Oklahoma where the wind blows.. oh, right. My family is from Oklahoma. It's not bad. Just really really boring/bible belt. I'll pass if I have the option.

Eeewy Bible. D: lol
I'm glad that Cali is so diverse in beliefs. No religions forced on people in a community (at least not in my area)
I always hear from people of other states how the people are mostly one kind of religion. Although, I suppose we have a very large amount of Christians here.

Having been in KC a few times (fiance's Dad lives near Wyandotte, his grandparents live in Olathe, and he grew up in Bonner Springs), I find this to be true xD
And yes, Missouri sounds like misery, with just a different emphasis.
At least I've never known any MO residents pronouncing St. Louis as "Looey". I think it's because Louisville KY is too close for that xD
I've heard a lot of mispronunciation of my current town though. Rolla does not sound like "roll-uh."

What is the correct pronunciation?

O_o;; Doesn't sound like too nice of a place to go to. ;P

That's what my dad called Missouri when he lived there. Typically horrible weather, much colder than 'hom' and home is hours away and visitable only on long weekends and holidays.

Accents are cool indeed~ XP <3<3
Although we don't get a lot here. xDD;; Since Filipinos always wanna be like the Americans and try to copy their accents. Only most of the time it fails and it's amusing. ^^;;

I have not ever said, nor do I plan to ever say, G'day non-ironically in casual conversation
and I don't know many people who would... bloody stereotypes :/
I'll just be over here wishing I had a British accent then...
there really isn't much variation in accents across Australia, just different ways of pronouncing words like plant and dance
and bogans speak like bogans
I can't really pick many variations American accents except southern accents. I could probably tell the difference between some, but I wouldn't be able to tell where they're from... but I can tell that someone comes from the eastern states in Australia because most of them pronounce plant and dance the American way, while most people from South Australia, where I'm from, pronounce them the British way

Mmm.. French accents are pretty awesome as well. <3
XD Why do they do that, Ry? XD
Though, bring a digital camera with you next time and using movie mode, record it so that I can hear them try? o: I'm curious as to how bad they fail at it now. :lol:

Because the US wanted us to be like them before. xDD;; The 53rd state or whatever. And they supposedly wanted to help us by saving us from the evil Spaniards, but, umm, yeah, there were more ulterior motives. XP
Nothing against you Americans here, of course~ xDD;; <3<3
It's just really how history puts it. ^^;; The term "benevolent assimilation" is the most commonly used phrase to describe what the Americans wanted to do with us. =O
And Ari, that'd be weird. xDD;; To go around filming people for their strange accents. ^^;;
Call a call center? That would give you lots of Filipinos trying to be Americans. xDD;;

Cora thinks Scottish accents are very sexy.
But English and Australian accents are pretty yummy as well.
