Is it bad that I have genuinely no idea how many people were in my graduating class?

I had over a thousand people in mine, but my home town only has one high school. Sadly I didn't know a single person that sat near me during my graduation ceremony (we were organized alphabetically) because I'd spent the last two years exclusively attending community college the next town over for dual credit.

It's always frustrating when people tell me "well you must know so-and-so, he was in our graduating class" and I have to remind them I wasn't there. XD

You must be really smart Ferra. Very few people attended college for dual in my high school...I graduated 3rd in my class and I didn't even go to college for dual.

Not really. :sweat: My high school was overcrowded, boring, and just... bleh, so I was happy to be gone. I made a point to visit after school almost every day so I could still hangout with my friends though. :) I'm still closer to my high school buddies than anyone I've met in college, which is sort of the opposite of what I was expecting.

However, it'll be hard keeping in touch after I graduate if I get the job I want. I could be living abroad for up to 3 years.

It does get hard, but if they are your true friends you'll remember to write and call...and internets certainly help xP

Already it's kind of like I live a long distance away since this quarter has kept me so busy I've barely seen anyone from my home town (save my own family). :lol: However, I'll be much farther than just an hour's drive away.

The internet certainly helps. :) I can't contact everyone that way, at least on a regular basis, but it does help me keep in touch.

Its how I kept in touch with my husband while...he was away.

It's great for that. :) I'm hoping that if I get Skype, some of my friends might be willing to talk with me. I also have a game on my DS that lets me talk via Wi-Fi, but that limits it to people who also own that game. The big issue will be time zones. :gonk: Japan is 17 hours ahead of PST.

I'm feeling pretty confident right now. :) I won't know if I got the job until April though, but I'm hopeful.

Yeah, I would just be an assistant English teacher. I've been consciously working towards this goal for the last 5 years at least, so I certainly hope it works out. XD
