Not until January. I have time to do the rest of this cycle and another before I need to take a break. Might actually fit in two more cycles if we're lucky with time. :yes:

I'll be going to Arizona State University as an English Lit major. I've been trying to get to college for so long now that I'm almost bored with the idea haha. But if I put it off any longer, I fear that it just won't happen and I need to make college happen. Unless my Glee audition turns out well and I somehow get cast for it which is doubtful but fingers crossed haha. Then I'd have to figure something out. But yeah, I'm excited for school. Its something that I've wanted for a long time.

Oh, cool! A state university too! I go to Michigan State University. =) I'm hardly young enough to still be in high school, lol. In fact, I think I'm older than most college juniors. XDD"

English Lit is what I would be studying if I weren't as much of a pragmatist as I am. I'm not prolific as a writer, and I don't want to be a teacher for the rest of my life, so I decided to go with a major that would land me a reasonably well-paying job. :lol:

It's good that you're excited, and I definitely think that when you put something off too long you lose interest and forget why you wanted it in the first place, so I'm happy to hear you're well on your way now. ^_^d
Also, having heard about your concerns with dorm living previously, what do you think would make living in the dorms a better experience for you (aside from the other residents, of course, since that's somewhat beyond control)? I mean, now that you're thinking of living in the dorms for the first time, what do you feel or foresee would be helpful for the transition?

Ooh, you auditioned for Glee? That's really cool. I'm not much of a television watcher, but I've seen some episodes here and there, and I think it's a great concept. Tell me more about this audition! Is there a specific part you want to play?

Glee is doing an open casting call where you can post your video auditions online. They have three new characters that they want to add for the second season and they're holding the auditions on myspace. Its a 5 minute video audition. 1 minute intro, 4 minute song. I have a little trouble singing the audition songs that they have preselected for you to audition with because they're all in such a high key, but I have a month to practice and get my audition video submitted. Just have to figure out which of the 10 songs works best for me and work it out.

@Seiki- That sounds super cool! :D I really want to audition now, too, but I'm hella nervous... I think I'd do Still Holding On by Avril Lavigne if I did audition.

I was in choir when I was little at church, and I abandoned the church thing as quickly as I could. But I kept it up in school. I didn't actually have lessons though.

Bri, I think that's one of the ones I'm considering. It seems like it's probably the closest to my vocal range, but its such a slow sappy song and just blah. I don't want to do something boring.

@Seiki- Yeah, I know what you mean. But that was the only thing really in my vocal range, too. That and Rehab by Amy Winehouse, but ugh. I wish they let us do showtunes, that would be the best. :3

I can do solo/group interchangeably. I think I prefer group just because I'm not the center of attention. And that's what autotune is for haha. No one sounds the same when they're recorded as when they do when they sing live.

bri, if I could have picked my own song from their entire catalogue, I probably would have gone with Don't Stop Believing, Imagine, On My Own, or Proud Mary. I wouldn't know what to sing if I had complete freedom haha. Ain't No Mountain maybe? XD

I don't know their entire catalogue, but those are pretty great songs. :3 If I had complete freedom, I'd probably sing "Mama Who Bore Me" from Spring Awakening, "I'm Not That Girl" from Wicked or "There's a Fine, Fine Line" from Avenue Q.

My knowledge of showtunes is minimal. I could probably fair better with them than regular music, but I know regular music. I'm sure I could pick a better song if I had more time and stuff.

I haven't actually seen all that many shows, I'm just a huge fan of soundtracks. :P

Yeah, some more time really would be nice. I wish they had a larger selection, too. I'm not exactly well-versed in most pop music. >_>;

Hmm... If I had to pick a I've heard on Glee to sing, I think I'd go with Alone. I think that's the title, at least. I don't really keep up with English/American music, admittedly. :sweat:

I'm fairly certain the logo is just for April fools, in which case I think it's cute.
