Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons tend to weat suits a lot, for the guys, and dress clothes, for the girls. Otherwise they dress rather normal.

lol Feel free to
I'm not very knowledgeable with religions, so I may have worded something wrong or be confused

@ Roachi - lol Thats a pretty good reason. I'll usually tell them that we're not interested, and they'll offer me a pamphlet and I take it to be kind. Even though it really really irritates me when they come to our door, I still just can't manage to be mean. I try to stay as polite as I can and kindly reject them. They're not too pushy around here, thankfully. If they were, then i'm sure I'd get mean. I get irritated really easily and then I snap at people.

Oh. It won't offend me, i am not religious. I mean i believe there is something out there. But i don't have a specific religion. Actually i probably believe in the spiritual side of things more then jesus and stuff.

@Su - Lol yeah me too. They've been here so much so i'm usually short with them. But this guy was very cute, no wonder they're sending him to the door lol.

Well, uh, don't let anyone kill me for saying this, but no wonder you're atheist, Su. If that was the majority of my experience with religion, I'd probably be atheist too. I mean, they can believe whatever they want to believe, but most of them drive me nuts.

Haha. Thats just awesome. xD;;

Nah, I love them all. They're really great people, even if they can be a bit over the top sometimes. If anything, the Christians tend to get to me more than the others. They talk more about their religion and push it on people more then all my other friends. My ex never even mentioned it with me and never cared that I was atheist. It was so nice, but his foster brother didn't see it the same way and forced him to break up with me. And my mormon friend was extremely kind. Him and I were really close for a long time. So, they never bugged me. But one my friends right now's boyfriend is extremely Christian, and he's a handful. And there are a lot of over the top Christians here. They just act like they're better than anyone else. It really gets my goat. But i've noticed that all religions tend to be like that in their own way. Pretty much all humans are in one way or another, even when religion is not involved at all. I'm glad that my best friend, who is Christian, too, isn't like that. She's way more mellow when it comes to her religion. She knows it bothers me, and I know it bothers her, so we just both dont mention it. lol

Heh. I've been told that i'm going to hell a few times.
My ex said it to me once, but its pretty much a joke since he doesn't believe in hell, and I dont either, so it was a "haha" moment. xP;;

Actually, now I can't recall if JW's believe in hell or not. I thought they didn't, but i'm not totally sure. Oh well.

The sad thing is I don't even try. It comes out in word format exactly as it does in my thought process.

But I dunno, I guess I can write well. I got a 740 on the writing section of my SATs out of a possible 800. I didn't fair quite as well with my reading and math. I wonder if it would be better for me to retake that? Do a little studying first and prep myself on just the reading and math section a little better. They do keep your highest scores right?

Anyone know a good charity or two? I have 80 eggs I need to distribute to a charity courtesty of my iClone account and since I don't go there very often, I don't know which ones would appreciate it the most? And would use it properly. I thought about Cora's charity just because I know/trust her, but I want to spread them out a bit further? Maybe break it into two different donations? 40 eggs per charity?

Edit, on the topic of religion, I don't affiliate myself with any given religion. I have my own beliefs which don't quite match up to the standards of any specific religion, and while I disagree with the different preachings, I try to be respectful of others and their beliefs. I also maintain the fact that not everyone believes the same thing, therefore when someone speaks to me about their religion, I try remain open to the topic and try to understand why people believe what they believe because I'm curious into how people feel the way they do about whatever it is they believe in. I respect them by giving them my time, and they can respect me when I decline to switch to their religion because they think its the best thing since sliced bread, etc.

My ex was really Christian. I told him when we first started dating that I would never be Christian, but he ended up converting me because I was so eager to please. >_> I still believe in god, but definitely not the Christian definition of god.
I'm kind of glad I had to go through that, though, because I know what I believe in more now than I did before, and it just took two years of listening to people preach about what I didn't believe in to realize that. I think it's very important to come up with your own beliefs about life and god rather than just taking others on their word.

...And that was "Why Anna Dislikes Organized Religion," tune in next week for more potentially offensive ramblings!

Huh. I'm really not sure.
I dont tend to go in any of the charities. It may be a bit late to do something with them, but I honestly dont really know what we're supposed to do with them in the first place

Alrighty. I think that i'll be off to bed guys. Its getting really late, and I have to get up early for school.
Goodnight, all! <3

Seiki
- I'd say Silenia's charity, that rainbow one. Seems quite popular.
Also that sounds like a good score, i wouldn't know as we get scored differently. I also did badly at math.

Bria - I think being open minded, and excepting to all religions is the best way to go. It's good to learn, but it's also good not to push your beliefs on other people. Because when your forced into something, it just makes you dislike it soo much more.

Su - Night hun <3

Roachi, I'll have to check it out :yes:

To further enlighten everyone on my religious viewpoint, I would like to redirect you to my formspring where just four weeks ago, I was asked about my theory on religion by the amazing magaly:

what's your theory on religion? | formspring.me

speaking of which, if you have a formspring, follow me and ask me questions!~

Okay, don't shoot me. Of course, this is simply my personal opinion, but my problem with Mormonism and the Jehovah's Witness sect is that their beliefs don't make sense to me. Most Protestants (the ones you generally refer to when you say Christian nowadays) can't take no for an answer when it comes to evangelizing; I'm convinced they all have a saviour complex. The Catholics aren't so bad as far as the social aspect goes, but I often feel like they shape the religion as opposed to the religion shaping them. Fundamentalist Baptists scare me because most of the ones I've encountered have needed psychiatric attention, and Christian Science is just...I can't understand how you'd deny someone medical treatment because God will save the patient if that is His will. If that was how God intended for things to be, there would be no such thing as medicine because he would have made sure the discoveries either never happened or were lost. How can you possibly believe that everything happens according to one being's will and yet believe that there exist things (i.e. medical progress) that have been allowed to happen that were not of that being's will? It's so contradictory!

...okay, uh, end rant. Um.

To answer your question, Chi, I would say I'm not religious, but I'm very spiritual. It's not quite the same thing, if you understand my meaning. =3

I totally forgot that was your last name. XD

I'm agnostic, the kind that believes in possibilities but just barely. Definitely not enough to go to church every sunday, to my parents' dismay.

I just reread my formspring post and actually, I find it kind of a good read haha. Lots to think about : )

Lue, the whole scientology thing is an oxymoron. It's not a religion, it's a cult with an ignorant belief system that neither helps people, nor benefits society in terms of growth or self-awareness. ugh. /end rant.

Roachi, I think her parents are Catholic, seeing as how she comes from a hispanic background.. and I think we spoke about it before on MSN haha.
