The next challenge is going to be the easiest for those who make it through this round

Uhh... Well wouldn't it be hard to compete if you didn't make it through?

That's doesn't sound very logical, Seiki. Shouldn't the easier challenges come earlier in the cycle? >3>;

Bri, Hamlet was better than most, I agree.
Yush, cause I want to shake and spear him to death. XD lmao
Well . . . an imaginary mirage since he's been dead for centuries. ~

That's the thing though. You do the hard challenges early, and then when you break out the easy one they're conflicted ; P

I forgot that the Robes had the two poses. It just looked like a set. You can ignore that comment. It didn't really affect my scores too much anyways.

Whooooooo! I got a celebrity reply on twitter tonight! : D

I think I'm going to take Cami's side on this issue, and hope that she agrees with me that you're weird. Then again, you and Cami like to agree on weird things sometimes so maybe you'll both be weird in this area >>

I love that my side is being taken, even though I didn't say anything. XD

I don't know, I guess I just think that Macbeth's plot is kind of stupid. "I'm perfectly happy with my life. Wait, I'm going to be king? Let's kill the current king to make this happen! Oh, wait, I'm dead."

I much prefer Othello.

@ Seiki - Ah, okay. lol Yeah, I was just curious about that, since those were the only same items. I even have red on underneath to cover up the spots where the robes were showing skin. @[email protected];; Hard finding things that fit enough not to stand out too much. lol

@Seiki- you would agree with HER :talk2hand:

@Cami- I think he's making the assumption that you will be on the opposite side from me.

@Pie- It was alot of fun, we all drew roles from a hat and had to research the role and got extra credit if we made costumes and everything

The fun of Macbeth, I think, is really in over-analyzing it.

Is Macbeth a tragic figure or a 'bad guy'?

Would the events have unfolded differently if Macbeth hadn't told his wife? If he hadn't listened to her? (BONUS: Analise the subtext of not listening to your wife because she is female and thus automatically tainted by evil!)

Was Macbeth predestined to suffer this fate - or could the prophesy have turned out differently if he hadn't tried to speed up the process?

Did the witches really have a supernatural power, or were they just shit-stirring?

If the witches had a supernatural power, did they force events, such as driving Lady Macbeth batty?

And so on.

I've forgotten what came up in other classes. One of my college classes actually was on Shakespeare's works. (That's not where I've had my more interesting conversations about his works, tho. I think that was high school. We watched the Roman Palanski version of Macbeth and also discussed how it was filmed after his wife's murder and how the imagery might have been influenced by that murder.)

I took a Shakespeare class in college, but we stuck to the lesser known plays, like Titus Andronicus.

Didn't much like Titus. Like the name, tho.

Those are cool chairs, Cami. You should put them in your apartment. :o

I haven't decided my favorite Shakey play. It's probably 12th Night, though.
