I like bees in general to comment on the previous page
but in large numbers(entirely dependent upon the type of course) they can cause damage.....especially carpenter bees...
Awww, sorry to see you drop Zwe, but thanks for letting us know. Your life absolutely comes first and I wish you all the best *huggles*
@Cami- I had a feeling you where dabbling in shakespeare with that avi....I've been tempted to make a modern Juliet but I didn't want to influence the contestants so I am waiting.
True, very true... >3>;;
Maybe it's because I'm so not a fan of those irresponsible people who mistake lust over love. =\ Although admittedly I do think there was indeed some love there between Romeo and Juliet. xDD;;
And Anna, that just made my day. Seriously. Total win. xDDDD;; <3<3
Well, yeah, but it was more of a melodramatic sort of love (which is what one would expect in a play, especially Shakespeare's) or at least more symbolic than anything else (again, what you'd expect from a Shakespeare play).
I know, right?! I love the Sassy Gay Friend series; I only wish there were more than three. </3
I think it's that they loved the "idea" of each other rather than actually loving each other. xDD;;
...
Damn, this whole loving/liking the idea of something more than the thing itself seems to be a recurring theme in my life right now. =__=;;
And I'm gonna go through those videos now. xDD;;
I posted it on my Facebook just now, just cause my friends have to see it. 8DD;;
I really like the underlying symbolism of that romance, and your description summed it up so well, gah. With the supposed "ideal love" we're spoon-fed as a society, it's really common for people to project their idea of perfect romance onto the first person they find remotely attractive or interesting and it's only once they find real real love that they realize they were wrong... aaaand now I've stopped describing Romeo and Juliet and started describing my own love life. xD;
Aw, I feel you, Ry. :< *kicks fake love in the balls*
And, well, I wouldn't go too far and call it fake love. Just... not the right kind of love, I guess. xDD;; A different kind of love?
Ugh, not making sense. >3>;; That's my way of putting it. From experience. ^^;;
And oh! I don't think I'm friends with anyone from Mene in Facebook yet. xDD;;
@Ry- No, I get what you mean. xD And I didn't necessarily mean fake as in artificial, but like you said, not the right kind of love... fake true love? D8
I'm not friends with a ton of people from Mene on FB, but it's a significant amount, I guess. xD
@Magi- Me tooo! 8D Yeah, that was the first one I saw. My fave is Othello, but I think I might've already said that...
xD;
Everyone needs a sassy gay friend. Just in case of a suicidal whim. c:
Then he can arrive with a flip of a scarf, and help you with your problems faster than you can say 'Girlfrannnnn'. :'D
I think I have a few people on FB from Mene, but not that many.
I feel pushy if I add someone without them adding me first. xD
I was going to do it last night, but I had a positively terrible day yesterday and was completely exhausted. I was out of it and emotionally drained and just napped and sat around like a blob. :x And today i've been up since early, but still not fantastic. Baked some cookies, though, and did a little more yardwork. I dont know if i'd be allowed to try to whip something together today and turn it in. :x I know I still have an extension, but I dont know if he'd accept that last minute.
@Silver- DUDE, RIGHT?! I've got a sassy lesbian friend! It's not the same, but she's totally fabulous and into scarf-flipping. xD
I'd ferr surrre add you before you added me, if I was a good enough stalker to find you. o 3o;
@Silver- Whee, sweet! I think that gives me a +5 in Stalking. o uo
Not counting Mene, I've got two lesbian friends that I only know online and one irl that I don't talk to much anymore. I also know a lesbian couple, but I think they're both bi or pan or something~ I think I only have one gay friend and he's in new york, but he was super fab. He even wanted to be a fashion designer. He was the greatest. xD
And I think everyone I know becomes just a little bit bi in my presence because of my aura of gayness. 8D Well... not really, but I like to assume they are because heteronormativity is for squares.
lol I'm straight, so I suppose i'm square
Although, it seems more like being bi has become the norm these days rather than being straight. Honestly speaking.
I was joking about the square bit~ you're supah cool, Suo. :3
That's true, especially on the internet, but heterosexuality really is still the norm IMO. I don't see nearly as many same-sex couples as I do straight ones, and most of pop culture is geared towards ladies that like dudes and dudes that like ladies, although abnormal sexuality is much more widely accepted than it was a few decades ago.
Agh, it's that way where I live. Girl + Guy = NORMALDON'TCHANGEITORWE'LLTIEYOUTOTHETRUCK.
Gays are a rare species unless you search the larger cities like Halifax.
We're endangered.
Like pandas, but.. We eat food besides bamboo.
And I find lesbians have it somewhat easier around here, since most of the hicks and some straight guys are all 'ohmygodgirlongirl'.
I shook my hips on stage for a variety show, and I was the 'fag with the blue hair'.
Blah, this turned into a longer post than I expected. xD
