I was perfectly fine until 6pm, but then pretty much everything possible has gone wrong. A series of what would normally be minor annoyances has led to me just being entirely unhappy.

And now my roommate is off crying and walking because I didn't like the cabinet she stuffed into the only free space in our dining room to fill with the sentimental crap she's been spreading all over the apartment.

I only just got around to reading the challenge. I like that they have to do two outfits. I think every final round should require the contestants to do more than one outfit. Otherwise, it's just like every other round and that means that if you had put the challenges in a different order, someone else would have won.

Yeah, she is, but I could have been nicer about it too. She was at the end of a very long three and a half hours, and I wasn't as patient as I normally am with her. She requires a lot of patience.

My internet is really unpredictable and doesn't ever load anything properly! I've been missing posts left and right for days! Twitter and Facebook hate me, I haven't been able to get onto Perez for days. And to top that all, my download speeds are all over the place. How the hell am I supposed to watch my TV on the internet if it takes 10 minutes to download a show one second, and then two days the next, and then four hours, and then 10 minutes, etc. imsorrycamiilu! <3

And uh, your roommate needs to find a different place for her to stick a cabinet to fill with useless junk that she doesn't need. The kitchen is usually too small as it is to be sticking crap into >>

Cami, I think the two outfits thing might become a standard with the last challenge. I've been contemplating these kinds of challenges for a few cycles now. I just didn't know if they would be received very well.

I think it's a good idea. I'd even like three outfits for the final round, though it probably wouldn't hurt to run that past some other people.

I also liked what you did the first season I participated when you had us remake an outfit from a previous round, though I think this season was so short that it wouldn't work.

I told my roomie that I didn't like her cluttering up the apartment putting her stuff everywhere, and she said, "I don't mind if you put your stuff around the apartment," to which I replied, "I don't want to put my stuff around the apartment. I manage to fit all of my stuff in my room."

Haha. Way to tell her! She has a room for a reason. To put all her junk in. Isn't her room big enough for that or does she feel like she needs something of hers in EVERY room? I hate those people who think that they need to put a bit of themselves everywhere. Its not necessary. What's wrong with keeping minimal?

I liked that challenge. It was a fun one : ) And I think that three outfits might be a bit excessive. Two is probably best. I'll just have to figure out how to make them relate to each other in the same challenge.

I think having multiple avatars to do for later rounds sounds good to me. :3 After all... Project Runway has designers do a collection. Two seems reasonable for the usual amount of time, depending on the timing of the final round (ie: if the contestants were having time crunches and/or if there was a known event coming, it'd make sense to offer more time). If a longer deadline were given, three wouldn't be out of the question either.

See, what's happening is she just moved out of her father's place and he's forcing her to clean out her room. So she's sorting through two and a half decades worth of stuff and deciding where to put it (which somehow involves our entire apartment).

I did the same kind of thing three years ago, but I was cleaning out an Illinois-based room while moving to Boston, so I was really critical about what I was going to take all the way halfway across the country from me. She grew up in Boston and only has to transport stuff about a seven minute drive, so she's trying to keep everything.

CK, That's kind of my opinion on it. I wouldn't give an excessive amount of avatars and expect them in four days like the regular challenge. That wouldn't be very fair. And do we not have the Wiki links anymore? I noticed earlier when I wrote your name it wasn't linked and I didn't have to use the [noparse][/noparse] tags.

Cami, ah. 25 years of stuff to sort through would be torture. I'm kind of glad in that sense that my parents aren't overly sentimental and that they don't feel the need to keep every single scrap of paper I've ever written/doodled on and that kind of stuff.

I'm not overly sentimental either. Pretty much all of the cute little things I had growing up (like little figurines and the such) got packed and put away until some future time that I may or may not use them.

My roommate has apparently always wanted to be able to put these things somewhere and has never had room for them, so she's trying to fit them here. When I told her maybe she should pick her favorites and pack the rest, she looked devastated.

There are one two things in my life I am extremely sentimental about: My handmade blankets, particularly my baby one (I now have...6 total though xD).
The next biggest thing is a replica family heirloom from my fathers side, which is a cross necklace his oma passed down to him and he lost but got remade. It is something important to him and I "won" it by ripping it off his neck when I was a baby...yes, my family has strange traditions. xD

There are some other things I am somewhat sentimental about, but I would not get upset if they were packed away or given to another family member... sold off...yeah...somewhat.

CK: Those are totally worth being sentimental about, especially the necklace.

I really want to start a topic in the CD about whether or not less is more with the CIs, but then I don't really want to at the same time because I feel like I already know the outcome of it and don't want to bother causing controversy that's not needed. I've been talking to Kale about it in profile comments and we're kind of on the same wavelength about the CIs on Mene. Its so much pressure on the pixelists to put out such great items that they feel more = better but is it worth it?

bah. I'm just going to keep out of it.

At the time being, until funds are up and more pixelists are available, I believe less is more is actually a good idea.
Putting out CIs with less poses may be better, given the idea that the quality of the item goes up so fewer complaints would be made about, "why is there only 'x' amount poses?"

Meh, I can see it from both sides of the argument, however. I can also argue for both sides.

I can argue both sides as well, that's the problem with the topic.

They did recolor them. And there are actually four new colors. White, Silver, Gold, and Black. There isn't a huge difference between the white and the silver, but its noticeable enough when you're using them on an avatar.
