Sizz, We're staying at the Hampton Inn on 6th and Iowa. Its not bad. The pool was warm and relaxing. We'll be leaving around 9 tomorrow morning since we have to get to Tucumcari, NM by tomorrow night and that's like a 9 hour drive that I'm not looking forward to. Once we get into Texas, the pretty views are going to end : (

No, we don't live anywhere near here. We're still about 1200 miles away from home haha. This was just our first stop of our trip back from Iowa to Arizona. My friend's dad is worried about her driving so long/far so he wanted us to break the trip up into three days instead of two like we had originally planned on.

Tonight we'll be in New Mexico somewhere. Tucumcari I think.

Yeah, I'm going to put them up tonight when I get to the hotel in New Mexico. We're leaving in just a few minutes to try and get out of this weather because the Jeep doesn't really like high winds and rainy conditions. I'll keep you updated later.

It was really windy through New Mexico and part of the interstate was closed down in Arizona because of how bad the winds got there (up to 65 mph in some places) so we ended up detouring through Arizona, which actually worked out better for us because it was much prettier. I thought New Mexico wasn't as hot as Arizona though. We didn't really have very good weather for our trip the whole time we were driving and we had problems with the jeep that slowed us down.
