What age are you going for?
The first one makes her look like she's a toddler, but the face looks too old (since its hard to really make ages on Mene). But the second one looks like a 7 year old or something.

Those where about the ages I was going for. I did want toddler with the first one but I wondered if that might be too young so I went with a little older in the second one.

Well, I'd still suggest something different for the clothes, personally, because just the whole look doesn't seem to quite add up in my mind. I think that it also might have to do with the hair, since its rather yellow, as opposed to blonde.

Also, it seems like an older child wouldn't be as likely to be carrying around a blanket.

Well I think blanket carrying occurs till around 5 when you have to go to school, really I was trying to aim for around that age area sooooo yeah I'm not sure...... I have been thinking of changing the hair.

This outfit is frustrateing to me....it seems like it should be sooooo easy and yet....its not.

Yeah. @[email protected];;
Kids are too weird. lol

I probably dont much of have enough items on my account that'd work for a kid.
Hmm. Maybe a kid with a balloon and lollipop?

I should actually read what the challenge is, so I dont end up suggesting useless stuff. :x

Oh well. Glad I made it this far. It works out for the best I guess since I am busy with school work and packing to move, and do not really care for this round theme. I do not like Mary Poppins.
Congrats on another win, Cami! Your designs are outstanding!

(I prefer "grey", but it seems that more items are actually named "gray"... so yeah...)
Me, in most cases. I always spell it 'grey'. 'Gray' is an ugly-looking word. :B I use some British spellings. :p

A place that shows movies is a 'movie theater'. But if it shows plays or performances on a stage, it's a 'theatre'.

The location that's in the middle is the 'center' of wherever, but a building is always a "Centre for ___".

Because it's the official spelling, it's "lightsaber" in the Star Wars universe. But an actual swordy thing is a "sabre".

Can't think of any others off the top of my head. :B

Anyway - if you were to use a white mask over your face, I wouldn't dock you. White clothes are different. It's easier to find face masks in white.

I agree with everything you just said.

Cora: I prefer the second one, I think.

You know I knew this day would come where I would help my friend pick out her wedding dress but I just feel it's a little close for comfort. I'm with her now to give her advice on fit and style and all that but it's awkward at the same time. The stuff that she likes is much different than what I like and she likes styles that don't work for her shape and she won't be talked out of them.

@ Seiki - Have you just flat out said that they dont work for her, and that she wont look pretty on her wedding day then? Sometimes you just have to be straightforward. It'd be sad if she choice a dress that wasn't very flattering for her, and looked weird on her wedding day. D:

I have but she's stubborn. We found a dress that looks great on her but it needs to be altered so were coming back on Monday to see about getting that fixed and make the final decision about whether or not it's the dress but she has to make up her mind on Monday because she doesn't have much longer until the wedding. I didn't really like it at first but when I started really looking at it it worked more after I figured some changes out.

Well, thats certainly good, then. I hope that it works out and she looks beautiful. ^^

What I actually find to help is to take pictures, and then look back over them later. Something about getting to take a look of something at a different time makes you kind of see it differently. Or it allows you to recall what it looks like, so that you can be sure its what you want and what not.

She has all the pictures so I'll let her stew on it. I gave my opinions but she's a stubborn little bean. : (

btw, I prefer "gray" to "grey" because I think it looks more appealing when I write/read it. And theatre is always theatre no matter what the context. But that's just me.

It's theatre unless the actual name is Theater.

Also, you friend would have a much easier time if she just wore a pretty dress instead of a "wedding" dress ;D

I've always liked "gray" more than "grey" for some reason... But it's "movie theater" and a "play at the theatre."

When I get married, I'll probably end up buying a prom dress. I want my dress to be royal purple, and I doubt there are many wedding dresses in purple. XP

When I was walking downstairs, I thought my roommate was in the shower. Then I realized that the rain was just that loud.

That dress is gorgeous

My "wedding" dress is a tea-length formal cocktail dress with some really interesting fabric decoration. I'll probably get it from my aunt on labor day (she picked it up for me since it had to be altered and I don't live anywhere near the place I bought it). I'll make sure to take pics for you all :)

Seiki: Bridal gowns are far too overpriced to dye. You can often find a similar style as a prom or formal dress, the only real difference being that bridal gowns typically come with a long train (which get bustled for the reception anyway...). So really, if you don't care about the train, and you don't care about white/eggshell/cream, you're better off just not buying a bridal gown.

Sometimes you can find lovely bridesmaids dresses that would work just as well, but they tend to be more plain. And some of them are REALLY ugly :gonk:

They don't top the ugliness that Mother of the Bride dresses tend to be though... /shudder/

Meh, I can't see myself in anything gothic looking. My bf would hate that too probably. XP It's just not me.

My mom wanted me to wear her wedding dress... I am infinitely happy that I cannot fit into it (namely because I'm much taller), because it was QUITE ugly... shoulder pads and all :gonk:
