I should head to bed. Its nearly 10pm, and I am thinking that I should start trying to regulate my sleeping. I always get to bed too late. :/ I was like painfully tired this morning.

I slept around 4 or something. I dunno. But I was so tired today.
And I got home and had horrific cramps, so I just got a hot water bottle and curled up in bed and was doing a crossword puzzle and totally passed out. lol Naps are so great.

I have no idea why I slept 11 hours. I went to bed slightly before 12, my alarm went off at 8. I felt awake but turned it off and lay with my eyes closed. Then I woke up at 11.

I normally don't use an alarm. They're not really good for your health, and I don't usually have places I need to be in the morning. I think I sleep through alarms just to spite them when they do go off.

I'm like that on weekends, Cami. I'll wake up at a good, reasonable time, but then I dont really feel like getting out of bed, even if i'm feeling plenty awake. And i'll just doze off and fall back asleep. ><;; Sometimes happens again a few times before I force myself out of bed.
But I can't do that during the week. I leave for school around 7 each morning, so I need to be up relatively early.
----------
But I do always have an alarm for when I need to be up early. Otherwise I have my alarm set to 8 and 9 on days that I dont have to get up that early.

I usually don't have to be up before 8 or 9, and in general I can wake up by those times without the use of an alarm. I find that having an alarm both gives me an excuse to sleep later (my alarm hasn't gone off yet and therefore it's not time to get up yet) and discourages me from getting up when it does go off (because it feels like an intruder into my sleep instead of a natural way of waking up and greeting the world).
In other news, I'm trying to write this article on shoes and knee health and I'm thinking, "This sounds so much more interesting when I tell it to people out loud instead of try to write it." Then my follow up thought was, "Well, sure, everything can be more interesting when you don't need sources to back it up."

Infographic!
I don't really care for heels. Apparently they're "required" in the business world for interviewing, but I'll stick to my flats, thanks.
Granted, I do have a pair of wedges that I absolutely adore, and strangely enough they have arch support and are very cushioned. I can't do thin heels though, I'd break my ankle.

I've never found that heels are required. Heck, most of the places I've worked have had casual dress codes and I'm the most dressed up person there.
Awesome infographic, by the way.

Cora can't walk in heels......she broke her ankle when she was a little girl so heels are VERY VERY VERY VERY painful.....moreso then for most people.....I sometimes wear wedges.....but thats the limit.

I like high heals for the right occasion, but in general I prefer flats, low heels, and sandals. I also have some great strappy wedges that are the most comfortable things of all time.

Cami: Interviewing isn't the same as the day-to-day grind though. Apparently the etiquette for interviews is business formal unless you're not working in an office; then business casual is usually recommended. I hate business formal though. It's designed to look terrible on me no matter what. I'm too tall for heels and I can't wear button-up shirts. Female suits just don't fit me right, and I don't have the money to have them tailored or anything. I think it's a stupid requirement, but that's how it gets preached to me by the career center people all the time. Our career fair is today and I just have to shake my head at some of the heels that girls wear to it.
I'm glad the job I got was from a phone interview, which I wore pajamas during. xD

How much flexibility do your sneakers allow your feet?

Cami: Depends on the pair? I have a pair of broken-in shoes that let me stand on my toes if I want to, but my new pair don't let me quite do that yet.
I don't wear high-top sneakers like chucks though, because I hate having my ankle movement restricted like that.

I'll show you guys my article when it's up (which should be soon). Research is showing, though, that shoes should be flexible and allow your feet their natural movement because that movement dissipates pressure that otherwise is put on the knees.

I can't wear flats. o_o;;
Not only because I find most of them to look really weird and dont like them, but because I have high arches, so its like walking around barefoot all day, practically. I need shoes with arch support, otherwise it makes my feet turn inward, and its really bad for my heels. Sadly, though, most people dont seem to think that cute shoes deserve arches of any sort. -__-;; And any flip flops that I get eventually end up pushed down on the insides from my feet pushing against them, and it makes them wear down and not work anyway. :/ So, sadly, many shoes are not good for my feet. High arches can be annoying.
