@Seiki-I totally intend to get an estimate first. And myself....I will only get another dell. When my sister and brother where living with me....I got a dell, My sister got an accer and my brother got a gateway.....all at around the same time....took the accer 2 months to break down and even though it was still under warenty the company didn't fix it right enough times that it became not under warenty any more. The gateway took 6 months to break....and that company point blank refused to accept there own warrenty. My dell....is 3 years old...and only now starting to break down.

Before I got my Macbook two years ago, I was using a Dell desktop computer that lasted me for six years, no problem. Only issue I had with it, is that the RAM was so small it was almost unbearable to use towards the end of it's life. They're good for being as cheap as they are. But I won't ever go back to a Window's based computer. I'm so in love with Apple and the Mac OS X/Leopard software that when I have to use anything windows based it's just upsetting.

I know that whenever I start school next august/september, I'm buying a new Macbook though, because this one is starting to slow a little, and I'm kind of running out of space on my hard drive. I only have 30GB left thanks to my music collection, and movies that I refuse to delete because they were too hard to find in the first place.

hehe. I've never named a car, but I name other things... like computers, for instance. My last computer was Renata. :D It means 'rebirth' in Sanskrit, I believe. Because it was the second Powerbook G4 I got.

Yeah, I name pretty much everything. xD iPod... (Abeille de Tueur), camera (Ginny), phone (Amelie)... I don't have a car, tho.

I have a Dell lappy that's three years into its life... Quite reliable, I must say, although it's Vista so I have much to whine about simply because of THAT. :P

I'm hoping to get myself a Macbook within the next year. This thing is suitable for now, although it's definitely getting up there in age. I named it "Darling Laptop" ... does that count as a name? :lol:
