Hello Menewshans! I'm a newcomer to menewsha, so please don't be too insulted by my ignorance. :sweat: Um, I was wondering if there was a quick way to get some clothing around here? Most avatar sites give you a starter set of rags...but I suppose this is better than no avatar at all! :XP

Menewsha doesn't offer starter clothes and probably never will.We believe in working for what you get and this has made menewshans a lot less prone to begging and scamming, because we all know we got the items by hard work. It's worth it if you ask me. The cheapest item of clothing is the rags, I think they're 50 gold and gold is earnt both by playing games and posting. The longer each post is, the more gold you get for it.

As Angelus said, we don't offer a starter set, but we have a rag shirt for 30 gold. Personally, I recommend that people starting out save up for something they really like, rather than just buying the cheapest thing because they can. It's much more rewarding.

We don't get starter clothes here because Mene is about interacting and being active. No freebies unless we have events, and even then there's a little bit of work. However, I think getting your first outfit is part of the fun!

I got my first outfit within a week of joining, and we didn't even have any of the current games. You can get gold by posting and by playing the games, but make sure you read all the rules! Mene can be strict compared to other sites, but it's also what makes it fun. Nothing gets out of hand. The longer your post, the more gold you get, and the most you can get from playing the games per day is 500g, no matter which games you play. I hope that helps.
