This story is being made for Atlantis, about how communication is key to a lasting relationship, it's set in Verone City, among the many stores, hangouts and the local highschool - Saint Rala's Highschool - in the heart of the busy town.
The main characters, two boys and two girls who have been friends for years, go to the highschool, but sometimes teens have problems, which can be fixed, and sometimes not..

Appearance - Sarena is medium height, but she's also quite lean, from doing so many sports and dances, her skin is fair, slightly tanned and her hair is chestnut brown, she usually keeps it pulled back though.
She's quite fond of capri pants and tank tops, since she loves summer clothing.
Personality - Sarena is angered easily. (( From her aggressive sports training )) But she's also gentle and loves to laugh when she's feeling relaxed and happy, she'd do anything for her boyfriend, but she's worried about losing him to someone else.
Favorite hangout - School soccer field, and the local park.

Appearance - Kara is rather short, and is slim, like her friend Sarena.
She has jet black hair, and her skin is rather pale for a girl who gardens out in the sun. Her favorite clothing is usually black or dark green. She likes to wear loose jeans and hoodies, but sometimes she wears a band t-shirt or a long tank top.
Personality - Kara is shy, but opens up around friends and family, and she loves to cook for other people, be it a stranger or her boyfriend, who she loves more than gardening, which is hard to believe to some people.
Favorite hangout - Farmer's market and the "old style" ice cream parlour.
Hobbies - Writing, cooking and gardening.

Kara sits on ground/in garden.

Kara whispers to flowers: Joe, why do you always have to work, all the time..?

Joe speaks from tree: My boss is making me work overtime.. I have to stay late and clean up.. I'll hang out with you tomorrow, I promise..

Kara listens to Joe/Re-assures herself while watering plants.

Kara: I guess it's not that important that we talk all the time.. I guess he's sorta chained to his work at the restaurant..

Kara's cellphone rings/She answers after spilling watering can.

Kara stutters: H-hello?

Sarena exclaims from other end of the phoneline: Kara! What's up?

Kara replies with a giggle/Starts walking towards house for a towel: Oh, nothing, just hangin' out, watering flowers.. and myself..

Sarena replies: Oh, well that's good, but what do you mean *watering yourself*?.. Well nevermind, I'll just assume it's you being you.

Kara sighs/replies while in hallway of her house: Yeah, I guess so.. By the way, are you and Kale ready for our double date tonight? I have to call Joe and ask him if he remembered..

Sarena replies: Yeah, me and Kale are coming, we're meeting at the Trattoria Dela, right?

Kara nods her head/replies while wrapping towel around her waist: Yep, at six o' clock.

Sarena replies before hanging up: Ok, well.. take it easy 'till then, Kara. I'll talk to ya later, luffs ya.

Kara replies before hanging up/Tries to force a smile: Luffs you too.

Kara slumps into a chair after arriving in kitchen/She sighs and whispers to self while dialing Joe's number: Joe.. you better not forget about this..

Dial tone goes on for a few minutes before Kara hangs up and starts to tear up/Whispers to self again: This is starting to get really annoying.

Kara stares at the cellphone screen with Joe's number still showing.

Kara gets out of chair/Starts walking towards the bathroom to clean up.

Kara: Guess I better get cleaned up for the date tonight... even if Joe isn't going to be there..

Kara takes shower/Puts on dress/Starts doing hair.

Cellphone rings in kitchen/Kara runs to kitchen to answer phone.

Kara to phone recevier: Hello?

Joe on other line: Hey Kara. Sorry I didn't answer earlier.

Kara replies/relieved: Oh.. It's ok, are you ready for tonight?

Joe: Uhh.. our double date with Sarena and Kale..?

Kara: Yeah.. did you forget?

Joe replies in excuse-ful tone: Err.. no.. I didn't forget.. but I can't go, I'm sorry sweetheart..

Kara replies in depressed tone: Oh.. well.. um.. ok, I guess.. I'll talk to you later..

Joe replies in a fake remorseful tone: I'm sorry Kara.. love ya. (( Faint girl voice in background before Joe hangs up. ))

Kara hangs up/looks down at phone again.

Kara: What the hell..? Did I just hear another girl with him..?

Kara bites her lip, then begins to think up an explanation about the girl's voice behind Joe.

Kara: I bet it was just a waitress taking an order while he was in the restaurant kitchen.. yeah.. thats it.

Kara puts phone in her purse/gets car keys and starts walking towards her car.

Kara drives to restaurant without phone interruption/She arrives at the restaurant to meet Kale and Sarena.

Sarena yells as Kara gets out of car in parking lot: Kara! You're finally here!

Kara replies with a hug and explains why she's late: I'm sorry I took so long to get here, I was talking to Joe before I got here, he said he's not coming..

Kale replies: What? We just saw him, he was walking towards the restaurant doors just a few minutes ago.

Sarena nods her head in agreement.

Kara replies in shock: W-what?! He just said he wasn't going to be here tonight!

Sarena re-assures Kara as they walk towards the restaurant: I'm sure he was just trying to surprise you by being here on time, right Kale?

Kale : Yeah, right he just wants to make sure he was here early.

Kara sighs then stops at the doors: Sarena, I don't really believe you.. I think Joe is starting to lose interest in me..

Sarena replies with a wide-eyed look on her face: W-what do you mean? Joe is crazy about you, no-one else.

Kara bites her lip before replying: Maybe, but I heard another girl's voice on the other line when he was about to hang up..

Kale and Sarena both look at her in awe.

Kara: Yeah, I know.. it's surprising, but I'm not going to stop until I find out whats going on.

Sarena hugs Kara gently.

Sarena: We'll help you find out.. but for now, let's just eat and relax, okay?

Kara nods her head with a few tears in her eyes: Yeah, I guess so..

Kara/Kale/And Sarena all walk into restaurant and wait to be seated.

Kale whispers to Sarena and Kara: Hey.. who's that with Joe..?

Kara stutters as she looks over at Joe sitting at a nearby table with a strange girl: J-joe? With another girl..? What the hell..?

Sarena and Kale look at Joe, awestruck.

Joe notices that Kara is walkign towards him and his date.

Kara: Joe!? Why on earth are you here?! You said you were busy and that you couldn't go anywheres tonight!

Joe's date: Huh? Who are you and why are you talking to my boyfriend like that..?

Kara's anger gets more apparent.

Kara: YOUR boyfriend?! What the hell do you mean?!

Joe tries to explain: Err, Kara, it's not what it looks like, I'm just hanging out with Jenny for a few hours before I go back to work.

Jenny: What do you mean Joey-bear? You asked me to meet you here last week.

Joe mutters: Shut up Jenny, I'm trying to explain things to Kara...

Kara listens and then yells at Joe: You jerk! Every time you tell me an excuse about why you can't meet me somewheres, and it's because you want to spend time with this bimbo who probably has the IQ of butter!

Jenny retaliates: Hey! I resent that! I'm not dumb, and Joe obviously likes me more than you, so I think I win this round.

Joe looks at Kara, then at Jenny, trying to figure out what to do.

Sarena and Kale walk over to the "War-Zone" to investigate.

Kara is finally fed up with this and slaps Joe across the face before turning around towards the door.

Sarena hisses at Joe before joining Kara: Serves you right, asshole.
