Wo-hoo! Obama's could get Ohio~
that's a very significant state. It is SAID that it is very, VERY difficult to win the presidency without that state owo
They're about 60 electoral votes away from each-other

Each person votes for who they want to be president. If Obama has the most votes in one state, he gets all of the electoral votes for that state. Popular vote counts, but only because it helps determine electoral votes.
Also: the amount of electoral votes a state has depends on its population, which is why California is good for whoever wins it.

Lols, I was shopping and trying out some dresses today when the sales clerk suddenly shouts, "Obama won the elections!" Everyone stopped what they were doing and started talking about politics all of a sudden. It was kinda funny. =P
Just thought I'd share~ ;]

Not really. xDD;; The loudest people got were when a group of ladies were telling each other loudly that they knew Obama was gonna win. No debates or anything. Everyone was just sharing their opinions and predictions and stuff in a cordial manner. Some were McCain supporters, but they didn't freak out or anything. 8D;;
So, yeah. It was funny. Like, during that time, my mom was trying on a brown summer dress, and then people were comparing it to Obama. LOL. 8D;; Yeah, we Filipinos are weird like that, I guess. =P

LOL. xDD;; Now that's an interesting thought to entertain.
Some ladies were all like, "Hey, it's like fate that you walked out of the dressing room in a brown dress right when the sales lady announced that Obama won!" Yeah, and other stuff like that. It was all said in Tagalog, but I just translated it for you. =P My mom was kinda embarrassed too when they were asking her about why she decided to try on the brown dress in the first place, while I was laughing on the inside. 8D;;

@Berry - What do you mean the manner in which people voted for him??
He so deserved to win and i say good on America for voting him in. I believe he's gonna make some big changes for the good =]. He kinda reminds me of Martin Luther King in a way Lol.
@Kat - I'd say xD
