Yuck. My entire class failed proofs. Then we spent the next MONTH on them.... That's my strongest memory from my geometry class.
What country are you from? I went to a small school, so while we had some requirements and it was mostly focused on the farmer kids and the punks being able to graduate. Which is why I took the chance and went to college instead. *grins*

I need 4 years of math and sciences, 3 years of social studies, 2 of a language, 4 years of english.
I'm doing 4 years of social studies, 2 years of spanish and 1 of mandarin, and I don't know what else.

O_O That's insane.
We had to have... *thinks* Two smemsters social studies/history, three math, three of English, and two science. And there was an honors course, but only about 20 people each year decided to take it.
Best of luck with your studies!

Yo, Ayumi, angel. Nice of you to drop by after so long. <3
I agree on drinking because you like the flavour. I never drink stuff that tastes bad. XD" I don't know about it being Rylynne's natural weight though. It can't be good if people think you're anorexic, and it's not good to be too thin. I don't think it's that serious, but maybe Rylynne needs to reduce the stress that's making her lose so much weight and eat a bit more or healthier. =3
Speaking of math, angel, if I choose to take more math, my next class is Calculus 2. I'm really not looking forward to it. XD" Design sounds really interesting. I enjoy designing houses for fun, but I'm not sure if it'd be a good career choice for me. I'm really not that artistic. :lol:

That's because I'm a bit crazy, and I donate cash to Menewsha for the CIs, really.
But thank you! I'm happy to hear you like my avatar. =)
Actually, the real reason I'm waiting is because I don't see any reason to get overly worked up over virtual possessions, you know? I mean, it's nice to be able to make a nice avatar and have lots of nifty items, but it's not something I'd worry over day and night or anything. So I don't mind taking my time. :sweat:
Well, do you want just the dove headwings or the set of dove and raven headwings? If you want the set, I could sell it to you if she won't wait. I have an extra set anyway, and I'm in no hurry to sell it, so you can just take your time saving up. XD"

will you wait?

As I said, I'm in no hurry to sell, so I can wait indefinitely, really. As for price, the Menewshan Price Guide says between 7k - 9k gold for the set. Would you mind 9k if I'd wait for you, say, 2 or 3 months? =3

Well, I've never done anything drunk that I wouldn't do sober. Although, that may have to do with the fact that the list of what I'd do sober is really a lot more extensive than most people's. I've also never woken up after a night of drinking with either a hangover or no memory of the previous night. So I guess I'd say I've never been wasted. :lol:
I guess it's easier for me, since I seem to naturally dislike unhealthy foods for the most part. I don't usually eat burgers, pizza or french fries. Also, I feel weird if I go one day without eating either fruits or vegetables, so when it comes to diet, I don't really have a problem taking care of myself. XD" My only weakness is candy and snacks, haha.
Then I guess you should start eating more? =3
|
Oh, I know how you feel. D: I get the same thing done to me. >.>;; It's pleasurable pain though...? 8DD;; <3<3
And ohh, I see~ =O I've never woken up with a hangover or with no recollection of the previous night either. ^^;; For some reason, I get hangovers DURING my drinking time, and when I go to bed and wake up, it's gone. xDD;; But, then again, I've never been TOTALLY drunk. 8DD;;
And really? =O That's a beneficial thing then. :3 <3<3
And, I think everyone has some sort of weakness to candy and snacks. xDD;;

Ry, that might be your natural weight. If anything abnormal happens, then go to a doctor. But you shouldn't have to eat more if you don't want to and you are fine. I have a... 19.5 BMI last time I checked, which is perfectly fine, and my parents tell me I should eat less. *shrug*
Fruit is a definite must and it is DELICIOUS, if I eat it for another reason besides health.
xD;
Soda is a big weakness.
Besides the fact that my school couldn't cook healthy for its life...
And diets are completely counter productive unless you actually work with a professional, since most people have no idea what dieting does to them.

I started drinking young as well. ^^;; Younger than 18, which is our legal drinking age here. But I only drink for social events. Never to forget my troubles and such. In my logical perspective, I will only have more problems if I drink away problems, because I can do something even more problematic while drunk. 8DD;;
And yeah, my natural weight is really light. ^^;; My BMI was... 17 or something last time I checked. ^^;; I just naturally eat less than most people. =| And I eat naturally slow as well, which always helps when you want to get full faster. 8DD;;
And YES! I love fruits too! :3 <3<3
My favorites are apples and mangoes. :drool: Oranges and grapes are awesome too though. =P <3<3
And yeah, school cafeterias are so not healthy. >.>;;
As for dieting, it IS counterproductive. =| Especially since most people just stop eating when on diets and stuff. =| What people don't normally know is that even if they stop eating, the drastic change in their body will only just tell the body to adjust drastically as well, and all your dieting will go to waste when you body has adjusted. ^^;;
Someone told me that the right way of dieting is by gradually reducing your food intake, so that your body can adjust properly. 8DD;; <3<3

I call it masochistically satisfying. XD"
I'm even weirdly healthy with snacks. Like... I don't like Pringles because they process the potatoes into flakes/powder first before reconstructing it into chips so they get that exact shape. Lays uses artificial flavouring to season its chips, so I don't eat them either. I also don't eat Doritos/Cheetos because they use a seasoning powder mixture that looks disturbingly like half of it is colouring. And I don't eat blue moon or superman ice cream because it's really just colouring added to whatever ice cream they used as a base. Probably even the flavouring is artificial, lol. It's a weird habit, I guess, since snacking is, in principle, not very good for you anyway, but I can't really seem to kick it. :lol:
I started drinking when my age was still in single digits, so it's not a big deal to me anymore. When I want to forget my troubles, I go to sleep. XD" Usually, if I'm troubled, it's related to money, and drinking costs money, so it doesn't help me at all! *laughs*
Oh, I eat really slow too, but that usually means I eat a lot. XD" My favourite fruits are melons, grapes and berries. <3
My college cafeterias aren't too bad as long as you pick the right stuff to eat. XD"
Personally, I think it's more effective to change quality rather than quantity. If you're gaining weight, cut the carbs and oily/fried foods out of your diet, and replace it with more fruits and vegetables. Eat leaner cuts of meat, reduce consumption of milk and cheese, bake instead of fry, use less oil when you cook, etc. You don't even have to avoid it completely. Instead of 3 scoops of ice cream a day, eat one. Instead of a basket of fries, have a handful. *shrugs* It's a lot healthier than what people generally call dieting. And because you're not completely depriving yourself, you're also less likely to binge in secret. Most importantly, don't eat when you're not hungry. XD"

Lolz. xDD;; Such deep terms. 8DD;; <3<3
And woah, you don't eat some of my favorite snacks. xDD;; Gawd, now I seem so unhealthy and fat compared to you. 8DD;; But like I said earlier, that's beneficial for you already, since you don't have to work as hard as most people to eat healthier. =P
And I didn't start THAt early, except for when I would sip some white for New Years cause it's lucky or something. ^^;; And LOLZ. xDD;; Nice reasoning there. =P <3<3
And you eat a lot despite eating slow? o_O;; I thought you eat less because you eat slow? xDD;; Weird. ^^;; But anyhows, fruits are love. Period. 8DD;; <3<3
And I guess uni cafeterias aren't as bad as high school ones, but still. =\ Hard to find nice and fresh fruits though. :x Which sucks, since I have to go out of my way to some other place to get my lovely fruits. xDD;;
And yeah, that's true~ =O Dieting is so much more than just starving yourself. >.>;;
I'm trying to go on a healthier diet, not a "starve myself" kind of diet. 8DD;; Mostly because I want to work out again and get back my lean tummy. ^^;;
And btw, I love your "don't eat when you're not hungry" philosophy. 8DDDD;; <3<3

My mother is a health freak, so I guess I grew up accustomed to healthy eating for the most part. She doesn't like me eating candy or drinking soda either. *laughs* I don't think the snacks will kill you or anything, but...I don't know. They just kinda disturb me? I don't like the texture of Pringles chips, lol. I mean, I eat chips like Cape Cod that use real vinegar to flavour their salt and vinegar chips. They also have irregularly shaped chips because they actually slice the potatoes, not process them into powder first. And some of the gourmet chips that use different root vegetables besides potatoes are interesting. They're expensive, so I only eat them occasionally, but they're a nice change. XD"
*shrugs* I don't know. My friend (a guy) always tells me I eat A LOT whenever we eat together, sometimes even more than he does. I eat slowly, but I end up slowly packing in a lot of food. XD"
Not exactly, there are fruits that I don't like. :sweat: Of course, I have no idea what it's like where you are, but I know that we always have some kind of fresh fruit here. Usually, it's apples and bananas. Sometimes, they have oranges and pears. On really good days, though, they have strawberries, cantaloupe, honeydew or grapefruit, which is when I really dig in. XDD
Oh, working out? That's good. My body is quite fragile, so I don't do much exercise, which is why it's good that I naturally eat well. What sports do you do?
<333 Eating when you're not hungry is pointless intake of calories. Someone else out there is starving and needs the food. Why get fat when you can feed them? ;)

Ohh, I see, I see. =O
My household is pretty funny, now that you're talking about parents and stuff. ^^;; My mom is all for healthy foods, but my dad is for junkfood and chocolates and stuff. xDD;; So, it was a strange mixture indeed, since what we ate depended (and still depends, sometimes xDD) on who's at home more often to influence us. ^^;;
And LOLZ. xDD;; I see, I see. =P
I eat slowly and I eat only a little because of my size. ^^;; I'm short and thin, so, not a lot of place to put a lot of food in the first place. 8DD;; It's real obvious when I eat a lot though, since there's a real emphasis on my tummy. xDDD;;
And oh! I mean that in the cafeterias at uni, it's hard to find fresh fruits. :x Here in the Philippines, we have a lot of fresh fruits all around. xDD;; I mean, we're a tropical country, after all. A lot of countries import fruits from us too. ^^;; Especially mangoes. I heard they're kind of expensive in the US? =O Where compared to here, since they come from here, they're a lot cheaper. 8DD;;
And yeah, I work out because I want to be fit, not slim. D: There's a difference, after all. xDD;; Although, I've stopped working out for one semester now due to a busy schedule. :x I plan on going back next month though. ^^;;
As for sports, I actually don't have any. 8DD;; Although, I dabble the most in frisbee and soccer, but I'm not so good in general. ^^;; I prefer running, biking, jogging and the like. =P <3<3
And that's so true. =O
I'm guilty of that sometimes. ^^;; Especially when there's something that you REALLY want to taste, but you're full. D: </3

Haha, I think that's a good combination. You get a nice mixture. XDD"
I'm pretty short too, and neither thin nor fat, but I guess I eat a lot because it's cold here? I need to burn the calories to keep warm. XD"
In your university, you mean? I don't know about mangoes in the US, since I never eat them here. I'm used to eating Indian mangoes with a really strong flavour, and I find that the mangoes here seem strangely tasteless... :sweat:
*laughs* I don't exercise at all, so I don't have a preference. I dance occasionally though, but that's for fun, not for exercise, and I don't do it that often, so I never count it. XDDD"
I think it helps when you cook for yourself. Like, unless I'm genuinely hungry, I can never be bothered to go make something to eat. If I'm just slightly hungry, I usually just snack on something like I'm doing now. :lol: I could order delivery too, but that's expensive, so I don't do it very often. |DD"

True~ 8DD;; But it makes our normal diet so... not normal...? xDD;; But it's a very interesting showdown when, for example, my brother and I ask my parents if we can eat this chocolate bar, and my parents will answer different things at the same time. 8DD;; But, our family is pretty out there in general. ^^;; We remind ourself of families in sitcoms, literally. ^^;;
And lolz, that could also be it. xDD;; It's too hot over here, so no need to keep warm and burn calories. ^^;; It's normal to sweat by just walking, and on especially hot days, you can sweat just by standing up. xDDD;;
And yes, in my university, you can't get the very nice quality fruits. =O Which is depressing. ;_; Although, there is a small but tasteful fruit stand in university. It's only a small place, but you're always assured that the fruits there are awesome and of really high quality. The owner is very picky that way. ^^;;
And oh, really? =O You should definitely try Philippine mangoes then. =O When Zambales mangoes (Zambales is a province over here that has THE BEST mangoes, seriously, and it's even known worldwide I think xDD) are ripe, they are TO DIE FOR. :drool: Not a lot of mangoes can match the flavor of Zambles mangoes. =P <3<3
And lolz! 8DD;; I wish I could dance. ;_; I'm not a dancer though. >.>;; I mean, I can dance at parties and stuff, but you know, it's not my specialty. ^^;; It's one of my hidden desires. 8DD;;
And that's true. =O I mean, I can't cook to save my life (except breakfast foods xDD), so, your theory might actually be correct. ^^;; We also only go to the grocery once every week or two weeks, so we always have limited food. It's so we won't binge on a snack overload or anything. xDD;; It's pretty helpful, I think. ^^;;

Oh, that's what home is like, always hot and humid. I prefer it here though. XD"
It's good that he's picky that way. Is it expensive though?
Oh, Zambales mangoes? I'll look for them when I get home maybe. I actually like my mangoes green and very sour. With bagoong or rojak sauce. XD"
I can't say I'm very good at it either. I like going to dance clubs though because it's one of those places where you can do whatever you like on the dance floor and no one will think you're weird. :lol: I also like having poles around to pole dance with. ;)
Yeah, that's a good idea. I usually go grocery shopping once a month because I can't seem to make myself get out of the apartment to go anywhere. *laughs* I'm a lazy hermit like that. XDDD"

It is~ 8DD;; Dinner time when all four of us are around never fails to entertain. ^^;;
Too bad that only happens during weekends though. At least one of us isn't home in time for dinner during the weekdays. >.>;;
And lolz. xDD;; I guess our countries have similar weathers then. =P Although, since I'm thin and get hold rather easily, I think I'm all right over here. 8DD;; Even if the heat is intense during summer though. >.>;; But I've learned to live with it. ^^;;
And ohh, yes, you should look for them. =P And I actually LOVE green mangoes with bagoong. :> I'm not as picky when it comes to green mangoes compared to how picky I am with yellow ripe mangoes (Zambales mangoes have spoiled me that way xDD). ^^;; I eat them a lot when we're at the beach. 8DD;; Both kinds of mangoes, actually. =P <3<3
And well, that's true. =P No one gives a damn as long as you're swaying. xDD;;
And poles eh? Naughty girl~ 8DD;;
I've never tried pole dancing before, to be honest. ^^;; I'm not naturally flexible, and I don't want to embarrass myself on a pole, nonetheless. 8DD;; It would be interesting to try though? xDD;;
And lolz! I actually hardly do the groceries. Most of the time my parents do it, so I can continue being lazy. ^^;; It's real awesome to come home from uni and see the fridge and snack area all full of foods again. 8DDD;; <3<3

Oh, I'm actually accustomed to eating alone, although I do join up with some people for dinner on occasions. Having everyone home for dinner is not terribly important to me anymore because I'm used to not having it that way. I suppose it's good to have it though. Makes us feel more like a family. XD"
Actually, I like it here because it's safe and peaceful. Safe as in I don't have to worry about snatch thefts, pickpockets and burglaries so much, and peaceful as in I get to avoid drama. :sweat: Studying overseas for me is both courage and cowardice at once. I'm taking a chance of leaving my comfort zone to pursue my dream of a better education and gaining more independence, but at the same time, I'm running away from my problems. *shrugs*
Hahaha. We have something in common then! I like green mangoes better than ripe ones because I like sour foods. This is also why I like lemon, warheads, sour skittles, tom yam and sinigang. XD"
I think it's less about flexibility and more about confidence. You don't need to be a contortionist to look good while pole dancing. XD" I mean, if you can do complicated moves, that's wonderful, sure, but even if you don't do anything too fancy, if you know how to pose and flaunt yourself while dancing, it's still going to turn out pretty decent. Besides, when you consider how conservative most Asians are, you'd probably get some kudos just for attempting. ;)
*laughs* Well, that sure is nice. Wait till you live alone or with a roommate like me. Then you'll have to do all your grocery shopping by yourself. XD"

Ohh, really? =O I see, I see.
I'm used to eating with family, since I still live with them, and generally us Filipinos are raised to be very family-oriented. ^^;; I mean, we don't normally move out till we're married, unlike there in the US where people move out at age 18 or so.
I guess it's just a difference in culture, basically~ =P Cause, if you ask me, I would feel weird not eating dinner together with family, except of course when you're out with your friends and stuff. ^^;;
And oohh, you're lucky that you live in a safe and peaceful place then. =O I wish I could say the same for myself. ^^;; Although, I'm strangely lucky, and have avoided any life-threatening disasters. But then, our country is a total mess, so I'm very fortunate to be sort of sheltered to it because of my lifestyle. =|
... okay, I was almost robbed once. I wanna share the story because it's funny. xDD;; So, the local transportation around the campus here is something called a jeepney, or a jeep in short. I was riding one of said jeeps to get to the other side of campus for something, when I felt something poke me in the side. It continued on for a minute or two, and I assumed that it was just something sharp poking me continuously because the jeep was rocking.
I was also with around three friends at the time. I thought that I had two friends on either side of me. So, I assumed that it was one of my friend's bags that was poking me. I was also having a bad day, so I suddenly turned to my friend who's bag was poking me and shouted, "OUCH, THAT HURTS, YOU KNOW. D:<"
Turns out it wasn't my friend beside me, but this man I didn't know. As if on cue, the jeep stops at a checkpoint and he suddenly gets down from it. I was embarrassed at acting like a bitch to some person I didn't know, when the person sitting in front of me (you face each other when you sit, you see) told me that the dude was trying to rob me, and that the poking thing was a knife. =|
SO, lesson of the day: be a bitch and you can save your life and your valuables. xDDDDDD;; Okay, sharing over. xDD;; <3<3
I wish you luck with whatever problems you have though. =O I don't want to pry, of course, so I'll just offer well wishes~ :3 <3<3
And really? =O I prefer ripe mangoes to green ones, personally, but I love both a lot. xDD;; And oohh, you know of sinigang? :>
And LOLZ. xDD;; I guess that's true. ^^;; But still, I'm not confident enough to pole dance just yet. 8DD;; Even dirty dancing is something I'm not comfortable with. ^^;; Yeah... dancing isn't my forte at all. xDD;;
And lolz. xDD;; I would kick my roommate's butt if he/she always made me do the grocery. 8DD;;

I think that people here move out when they're 18 partly because they go to college away from their hometown? Most people go to college an hour or two away from home, I think, so they have to find an apartment closer to campus, lol.
Yes, it's quite nice. Theft is a huge problem back home too, but here, everyone says I'm so paranoid about locking doors and watching stuff, etc. I mean, I once left my purse in a restaurant, and it was still there when I came back about 10 minutes later. Back in Malaysia, if you leave in unattended for 1 minute, it'll already be gone. =__=" ... *laughs hysterically* Oh dear, that was lucky of you! XD" Oh, fail!thief is fail. :rofl:
My problems? Oh, they're not really that serious if you really think about them. There are plenty of people worse off. My case is just the usual family drama over money and attention. Parents divorced; dad is drama queen. Nothing too terrible, but a pain to deal with all the same. :lol: It's not like anything really horrible will happen if I go back or stay home. I'm just happier here, that's all. =)
*coughs* I know how to cook sinigang. XDD"
*laughs* Maybe it helps to go with friends who are more "shameless" than you? XDDD" I usually go with some girls who are pretty big into the clubbing scene, so I don't feel too weird or obnoxious because I have people doing similar stuff with me. :lol: I also push all the guys to them because they're interested and I'm not. I mean, sure, I'm looking to date people, but picking them up in dance clubs isn't quite my style. ;)
Ah, no, no. We buy our own groceries even though we share stuff. XD" She buys what she wants, and I buy what I want. When these overlap, we just use each other's. I'm the better cook though, so I tend to experiment more, and usually, I let her have some of my cooking because I'm awful at cooking for one person. XD"

Ohh, really? =O Lolz, for some reason I never thought of it that way. xDD;; I guess it's cause the major universities over here in the country are all in one city. :3 I mean, you dorm and stuff if you're from the provinces and are studying in the city, but it's not the case for me. In fact, I only live 15 to 20 minutes away from where I go to uni. xDD;;
Really? =O Wow, that's very lucky of you. Over here, the level of danger and theft depends on where you are. Sometimes, if you leave something it's still there when you check back, but in other places, it's not the case. =\
And YES, he failed indeed. xDD;; Most thieves hate to draw attention to themselves, so when I bitched at him for poking me, the whole jeep already heard me and were looking at us, so he couldn't make any serious move without endangering himself and his cover. xDD;;
But yes, I learned on that day that being a bitch when you're annoyed is very convenient in warding off threats. xDDD;; I still can't get over it though, cause I seriously had NO idea I was about to get robbed. 8DDDD;;
And ohh, I see. =O Well, what matters is that you're happier where you are right now. :3 <3<3 I still send over my best wishes to you and your family though~ ^^
And OMG, I envy you. D: </3 I can't cook to save my life. ;_;
And lolz, that's true~ xDD;; I mean, even with "shameless" people with me, I still get a little conscious in dancing. ^^;; That's just me and dancing though. 8DD;; I'm cool with everything else. xDDD;;
And LOLZ. I do the same! 8DD;; I would rather not meet my future boyfriend in some random club, for some reason. ^^;; Especially since I had a bad experience with that once. xDD;; Random guy came up to us during a party and kept touching my butt and grinding with me and my friends. =| UGH. And then we find out he wasn't invited to the party in the first place and no one knew who he was. xDDDD;;
And ohh, I see, I see. =O That's neat. :3 And you're so generous that you share what you cook~ :> I bet your cooking tastes great. >;] <3<3
Oh! You know? I'm learning a lot of things from this long conversation, you know. 8DD;; <3<3 Just thought I'd share. :3 Good way of earning goldies as well? 8DD;; <3<3
