Ah, I've had many, but the scariest one was the one I had last night o_o;;
**Warning, wall of text xD**
In my dream, I was in Russia on a tour of old military bases. I was with a large group of tourists, and the tour guide was telling us about everything that happened at each base.
At one base, we saw a bunch of live artillery, the tour guide was confused and seemed a bit shocked. So, he told us to get on the bus, quickly. We were all rushing to the bus, but it was too late. These bombs were falling out of the sky, exploding everywhere, killing all of the tourists, including the tour guide. I was the only one to survive, but I was badly injured. I felt my body getting tossed and landing on the ground the whole time.
When I got the strength to get up, I ran to the closest city and ran inside a ware house. Opened the door, and crouched in a corner as much as possible. I heard announcements in Russian and in English telling people to get to a safe area. Right after that, a bomb landed just outside the building. Glass burst from the warehouse windows, falling on me and whoever was in there. I could feel the glass cutting up my back and arms. I was coughing up blood and could see black debris in the blood.
Another bomb hit the building, and I looked up to see the building falling towards me, then I woke up...
It was so scary.

Well, I did have this one dream that was pretty crazy, but I woke up and realized it was totally fake (on account I live in America, and in teh dream, I took a boat ride to Germany, which happened to be a horsehoe shaped iceberg and then I rode back home in a go-cart.)
And then there was this other where I dreamed I was an animated tiger running around screaming "I think I'm fat!" Which didn't really impact me.
But there was this one where I dreamed that I fell in love with a Polynesian guy, and then a few weeks later, some Polynesian guys moved here. ^_^ All that has impacted me is made me want to marry a Jamaican, Pacific Islander, or Indian. But that's all. I'm open to other races, too.
My dreams are weird.

I've had a few that were really creepy for me. One was about clowns and they killed people by putting a hook in them o_O It also took place in a hospital so it heightened the creepy factor.

Those are pretty strange. Sometimes it's scary to think why you had dreams like that, isn't it?
@ Angel Naomi - Oh jeeze D: Gah, clowns are bad enough, but killer clowns in a hospital!? *shudders* Have you tried translating the dream to see what it really was about?

I love everything about dreams so I do my best to recall my dreams every night. I've been having some trouble lately doing that, but that's just because I've had other stuff on my mind.
I don't have nightmares often, but when I do, they're absolutely awful. I wake up in tears and I don't wanna go back to sleep. Nightmares that have the biggest impact on me is ones where a friend or family member dies. Another type of nightmare I can't stand is people spreading lies about me or making wrong assumptions about me. I don't know why that has such a big effect on me.
But with normal dreams, I can usually understand what they mean. As randoms as dreams are suppose to be, there's often a pattern to my dreams I can follow. I dream about the same thing when I'm feeling stressed (dream: I'm driving a car with no brakes), rushed (dream: I'm late to class or work), or overwhelmed (dream: I'm under water).

I used to be able to remember my dreams, think about them, and look them up.
But, nowadays, I can't even remember them.
I've had dreams of being married, having children, and being like the bad guys in movies. .__.

I had a dream once where I jumped off a building and fell towards cement. But I hit the cement, then woke up. I literally jumped two feet off the bed. As if I had hit the ground. Scared me so bad, I've never been able to forget it.

I don't really have nightmares as much as interesting dreams. Instead of trying to remember them, I write them down. Lately thouh I've been a better procrastinator than a writer, so not much has come of it lately ^^;
I think one of my freakest dreams is where my house got sucked into a tornado and when the house began to fall after the tornado dissapeared, I felt as if I was really falling! Upon occasion I have dreams where I trip and I feel like i'm really tripping.

I have more nightmares than good dreams. I was and still am a horror freak. Of course, this can lead to overactive imaginations and plenty of bad dreams so, at a young age, I learned how to wake myself up when I got too scared. I've read about a lot of people doing this, and even being able to change their dreams. I'm not quite able to do anything like that, but I had been able to wake myself up successfully without fail for probably at least ten years. It only failed me once.
I was in a mansion with my mom and cousin. My cousin tells me that there is a spirit in the house, but not to be scared, because she isn't mean. She only wants attention. Around that time, I could hear whispering in my head that wasn't from my own thoughts. The whispering grew louder and it was like someone was taking over my mind, and shutting down my own thoughts. That freaked me out; it was pretty uncomfortable. So, I tried to wake myself up.
It didn't work. For the first time in years, I could not shake myself from sleep.
It was very hard to even continue thinking and I was 'pushed' into my head. I couldn't feel my body any more, or see what was going on through my eyes. I could hear laughter then; I always guessed it was the woman who 'just wanted attention.' Even though it was hard to think for myself, I kept repeating, 'Get out, get out, get out,' as I kept trying to wake myself up. I eventually did manage to shake the dream off, and I looked like someone straight out of a horror movie. I sat bolt upright, gasping for breath, and I was sweating so bad that my hair was sticking to my face in places.
I've never had anything like that happen to me before or since. I've had many other nightmares, bloody, terrifying nightmares, but I think this was probably the scariest dream I've had. That I can remember, anyway. The feeling of losing control of your body, and even your own mind, is horrible, even if it was only a dream. Uh...sorry for the wall of text, everyone. xD

when i dream it's usually like i'm watching myself, like i'm a hovering nearby, but sometimes the dream feels real like i'm looking through my own eyes and that i'm actually there
one dream or should i say nightmare felt very real and i was kinda aware i was dreaming but it didn't feel like a dream even though i knew it was one,
i was walking through a completly white warehouse with aisles of white containers, rows with lift up lids on a slant.
after a while of walking i decided to open one of the containers....bad idea
thousands...millions of tiny black beetles crawled out
i froze, and stood there as the covered me, crawling up....i couldn't see my legs and when they got to my waist, one bit me and i felt it i actually felt the prick in my side. *shudders*
i woke up then with a start and scared my cat who accidently poked me with his hind claws >.>

That reminded me! I had a really creepy, awful dream that I though I'd never forget, but now I forgot it!
Anyway, if I dream about a trip that's about to take place, and in my dream we can't go or it's raining, it'll happen in real life. I sometimes have deja vu in real life when the first time was in a dream.

I find that my dreams are based on the day before I fall asleep. So if I had different paths that I could have taken during the days, I would take the one that I didn't take. And if I don't have them type of dreams I usually have a big survival horror thing or I have dreams where I see my family before I was born and I see what events happened to get in the position of where my family is now. Such as family break ups and deaths in the family and such. I have been told many stories of events that have happened in my family. So I find it interesting to live those memories in my dreams.

Oh goddess....nightmares? I've...always struggled with them. If it's not one thing, it's another, and...*sigh* It gets kinda tough sometimes. But I manage to make the better of it by writing about them.
Sometimes the nightmares are actually funny when I wake up and realize how stupid they were. Other times...not so much.
I used to have a recurring nightmare about the last episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist. Which was ALWAYS one of the worst to me, due to a hideous phobia I've always had. It went on for about 2 1/2 years...luckily I managed to make it go away this year.
Lately the focus the nightmares has been...if not the crack roleplay I do with some of my friends (though those ones usually end up in the laughable category...usually...), it's usually my favorite movie, and if not that...a favorite musician of mine, and my absurd phobia of losing him.
I'm not going to go into detail on any of those, because all are a bit embarrassing to me. Especially the last category, since only my very closest friends really...understand...WHY I have those dreams in the first place. e_e;
I have...never really slept well. XD;; Luckily, in recent months, I've managed to slow down some of the nightmares...or at least turn most of them laughable.

My dreams or nightmares make no sense.
I had two dreams last night, my one dream was actually surfing on here. xD More like deja-vu really.
My other dream was awkward. I was at my school, and I just came back from the hospital. My friends, that I didn't even know >_>, told me to present this presentation, THAT I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT! Then my friends gave me this peice of paper, and I was singing it, not reading it, SINGING IT, and it was a story about monsters and paper airplanes. Then we were all done and my English teacher was all "Are you okay?" and she also said "You're pretty!" Then I left and I hung out with the friends I actually know in real life, and we are sitting on some weird stairway. Then some guy was telling my friends how to adjust their underwear. ._. And they did what he told them to do RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. Then I woke up being like "Wtf".
Weird weird dreams I tell ya.

I had 2 different dreams where my boyfriend (I'm male) broke up with me. One was because his mother told him to, though in real life she approves of our relationship (for now). The other time was because of some trivial matter which I don't really remember. But both times, I almost cried. They both came after about 1-2 years into the relationship (4th year complete on 11/05/08!) I woke up saying the F word both times. I then began to punch my mattress both times as well...lol. I was pretty upset until I had convinced myself that they were just stupid meaningless dreams. I usually don't get prophetic or really meaningful dreams.

The dream I had that impacted me the most was the one I had about my boyfriend's friends. in the dream I went on a date with one of his friends and ended up cheating on him. Now the guy that was in the dream won't get off my case and I already liked him before. It is horrible. I don't want to cheat on him but it's crazy how it seems like de ja vu. I just hope it does not happen..
Oh and then there was the time when I had the dream that spiders were chasing me and in the end when it picked me up I literally jumped from my sleep andd nearly fell from my bed. It was horrible, and made me realize my extreme dislike for spiders. ugh... dreams can be weird. The lucid ones are the ones that I end up thinking about for the longest time. It scares me to death. Almost kills me.
Speaking of I have to be off to dream tonite. *shivers*

The last time I had a real dream was a few years ago where I felt myself falling from a platform. I was holding tightly as the wind brushed my face and exhileration flowed through my veins. As I fell to the ground facing my immenint end, I woke up.
I've never had a nightmare before though. At least, nothing more than sad realizations roaming through my subconsciousness. Eh, yeah that doesn't really count C:

I can never really have falling dreams because I always feel the tension of falling backwards on my back whenever it happens in the dream, which wakes me up even before I actually begin to fall. Never fails to scare me awake.
One prominent nightmare that I had was during a time that my area was under a sniper alert. I dreamt that a car full of teenagers was shooting at my chihuahua and I, while we were running up the driveway trying to get back into the house.
Another was that I was sleeping in my room when the room changed into my sister's bedroom. I got up and walked over to my own room and got into the bed, when it changed into my sister's room again. The dream repeated itself for most of the night, and when I woke up, I found that I had sleepwalked into my sister's room, the same room that I had been trying to get out of in my sleep. It was like a bad comedy skit.(This happened before I was in preschool, it's the earliest dream that I remember)
My mom had a dream that I was kidnapped, taken to a city in Texas (forgot the name), and murdered by a man. She told me about it when she woke up. We were watching the news later that night, and a boy around my age and in a nearby city had been kidnapped and taken to the exact same city in Texas and murdered by a man. It was probably just a coincidence, but that was creepy.
I have more, but they'd take up a book.

Ah. Sometimes my dreams get a little .. strange and vivid. Like, I had this dark dream plaguing me for the last couple years on and off again, and I finally managed to vanquish it! Yay, right? Nah..
Now this new one's trying to get to me where someone is sewing up their arms. D: But, when I went to sleep and it came into my head, I said forceablly (in my head) "No! Go away!" And it sort of did..
I think it's really funny the dreams where I feel something, and then wake up and still feel it. XD As in, this earlier dream where I dreamt my arm had been broken and I couldn't feel it. When I woke up the arm was so numb I had to pick it up to move it. o3o; And then there's the dream where I got stabbed by a porqupine, my leg actually hurt when I woke up.
The serene and peaceful dreams are always the best, because they're all so calming. I don't know how to describe it, but they feel like sleeping in the sunshine, ya know? That total relaxation.
My favorite serene dream is the one where I climbed onto the back of the sofa, stood up, outstretched my arms, and floated across the room. When I got outside, I flapped my arms and flew away. :'3
They're all kinda scary and odd, but I actually wouldn't trade them for anything. >w< Life would be boring without strange oddities.
