Right now, we're all fine and well over here.
In the process of cleaning up and moving things back down.
We have cable and water again, so that's a good sign. ^^
Only bad thing is that we're car-less now, and some of our bigger appliances don't work, but that can always be replaced. ^^;;

I'm still really worried for some friends on mine though. :<
Some live in really affected areas, and we have yet to contact ANY of time. =(
My other friends and I don't know what to do, but we continue to pray for their safety, as it's still flooding over there and rescue operations are still being conducted...
I'm just hoping I won't see any of their names in the 350+ people who were reported dead. ;_;

My major reporting on Wednesday though is what I'm worried about the most, as my partner is still in flooded areas, and I heard that they got hit badly by a landslide. :<
My professor in that subject though is understanding, and he says that while the reporting will ensue, he understands if the materials aren't complete and if some parts are missing, as currently I'm doing the report alone. ^^;;


Anyhows, on lighter news, my art auction is still ongoing~ :3 <3<3 In case you guys wanna check that out. ^^

Finally, CNN online has something about the flooding, but they have the numbers wrong, of course!

I'm so glad you're still OK, Ry. They made it sound as if there were major more rains yesterday.
When I saw it this morning, I said "OH NO!"... and I rushed here to sign on and see if you were still OK.

Numbers are really tricky right now, as not everyone has been rescued and accounted for as I type this. =\
From what I know, the official numbers are nearing 100, but I have heard at least 350+ already from people, but I can't say for certain how reliable that is. >.<;;

Even without a partner, I am sure it will go well. I wouldn't be surprised if your partner was working on it when they could.

Well, if your partner is in major flooding areas, or her house has floated away, then she probably has other more important things to worry about...

Just got in contact with her again a few hours ago, and she says that the roads are still blocked in her area due to floods, so she really can't help me just yet.
I don't mind though, as I would never dream of making her write a report in this crisis! :x

I've also heard from three friends now. One is in an evacuation center, one is in a school (both of their houses were hit with floods reaching till the roof), and I heard from a friend of my mom's who knows the family of my third friend that the last time she saw my third friend, her and her family were still on the roof waiting to be rescued. ;~;
Not to mention the other friends I have yet to hear from. D: I think I have around five to ten people who we have yet to get in contact with at all. @[email protected];;
I'm still hoping for their safety. <3<3

OMG THERE WAS A FLOOD THERE?! I know there are usually small little "floods", but its horrid to know that a huge one occured.
I am very very glad that you and your family are alright. It's also good to know that you got in contact with some of your friends.
I hope you can all sort out the problems within a reasonable amount of time. I can't imagine what would happen if a flood hit where I lived. My mom did tell me stories of floods, but the strongest flood she can remember only reached up to a little above their waist, nowhere near the roofs of houses.

I hope that my mom's family in the Philippines are also alright. Although if something really bad happened I am sure that my mom would have gotten in contact with me already and told me about it.

a 100 people died in samoa today. There was like 6 diff earthquakes or something.
