@ Jean : You're very welcome to copy that item combination~ >;P <3<3
@ Testel : Paperwork for what exactly, if you mind me asking? =O <3<3
@ Chi : Yeah. xDD;; But then I sort of dread finishing as well, because I think it will be real devastating if I don't get a nice starting job once I graduate. >3>;; </3
@ Arianna : Hello there~! :'D <3<3 Welcome to Mene! ^^ Thank you very much for the luck! :'> I wish you lots of luck as well on your future quests and your time here on Mene in general! :'D <3<3 If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I'll try and answer them to the best of my abilities. =)

If you have a few years to go yet, Ry, then who knows what jobs will be available when you graduate.
It's all just a matter of timing. Hopefully the economy is better then, and there are more jobs!

Gee, Ry...all that work.
Too bad it's going to be wasted.
You graduate in April, only to have the world end in September!
At least you'll get 6 months of work in...
(lol...I love the doomesday predictions!)

September? =O
The end of the world according to the Mayans is still on December 22 (or 23?), 2012. >;P
So, I still have a few months left to earn a living, go on vacation, and etc. xDD;;

Oh, it's December?
Hmmm...I could have sworn it was September.
But then again...I haven't really looked it up, so I don't know that much about it.
Just that it's when the Mayan calendar ends....
So yes...that's a happy thought! You'll have some work time anyway!
Any ideas yet exactly what you're going to be looking for?
My senior year in college is when we talked to all the company recruiters.
I had my job with IBM lined up by the middle of my senior year...

If I get into the pharmacy program, I'm doing to die a perpetual student! XD
I'll be finishing my fourth year this Spring.
Then the pharmacy program is four years. :drool:

That's a long time, Estrella, but totally worth it!
I knew a pharmacy student when I was going to school.
He had a job lined up midway through his 4 years in pharmacy school!

Yeah, I know they are high in demand and that is expected to keep growing faster than average until 2018.
So, even after another 4 years I'm still likely to have a job.
It goes by FAST anyway. xD Unbelievably fast!
I'm just worried about the amount of moving it will involve and how that will effect (affect? I always forget which to use ;( )my daughter.

Well, I would expect that once you take a job somewhere, there shouldn't be anymore moving.
I would think a place would want a pharmacist that stays awhile, so that the people can learn to trust her!

Well, what will happen is I'll be spending two years at once campus, then I'll have to go to another campus for two years.
Then, when I'm finally done there, I'll be able to find a job somewhere and stay awhile. :yes:
It's just that I'm hoping to move THIS year, closer to campus.
Then the following Fall (if I get into the pharmacy program) I'll be moving again.
At least she's young so she won't be TOO upset by the moves.
It's harder when you start making long friendships, I think.

That's true...
I think that junior high would be really difficult...
Kids have such a hard time making friends at that age!

@ Jean : Yeah, assuming the end of the world really is in December, I'll have some free time before that after graduating. xDD;; <3<3 Also, if I maintain my scholarship till I graduate, I automatically get a job at the country's leading newspaper here. :'> I don't plan on staying forever though, since I wanna work on magazines more than newspapers, but hey, the newspaper job will be a good learning experience and really nice on my resume for future use. xDD;;
@ Testel : Why are you going to be behind now? =O
@ Estrella : Oh wow, good luck with that! =O <3<3 I have some friends who're studying to be doctors, nurses, and etc, so I know how long that'll take. >.<;;
@ Rikali : Hey there~! :'D <3<3 My questing's on a standstill, since I haven't been active and no one's selling anything. xDD;; And yours? :'>

That's great, Ry!
You should take advantage of that...
Unless of course, some great magazine wants to hire you directly out of college!

Ry - Thanks. I'm hoping to get into the pharmacy program next fall.
Which reminds me that the application is due in December. :shock:
I have to get two recommendation letters. :gonk:
I know I'll ask my math teacher because he and I got along really well.
And I think the other will be my o-chem professor, maybe. I really liked her.

@ Jean : I will~ :'> <3<3 And even if I wanted to, I can't. The newspaper hiring me and providing my scholarship has the right of first refusal, meaning I have to work for them unless they outright say that they won't hire me, lolz. xDD;;
@ Estrella : Recommendation letters are fun~! ^^ I enjoyed getting mine, and it was too bad I couldn't read them, haha. I was always so curious about what my teachers/professors wrote about me to universities. >3>;;
@ Rikali : Good luck finding a job! =O <3<3 What sort of job are you looking for, if I may ask? ^^

Ah! Well, I suppose that since they paid for your school, then they should get to hire you...
As long as their offered wages are reasonable, that is!
We don't have the concept of "indentured servants" anymore, do we?
You know, back when I went to school, they didn't require any recommendations from previous teachers...
The university just sent me a letter and asked if I wanted to go there, offered me a small scholarship, and I went!
I didn't even have to write any essays or anything like that.
I hear that it's MUCH harder to get into universities these days...
