Wow that really is scary. I have never seen any ghosts or anything but I have had a couple of strange experiences. I`m not sure if it was my mind playing tricks on me but I like to believe it was the paranormal.
One was hearing a girl crying when everyone was sleeping and it was coming from a bedroom where a man was found dead in the bed.
Another was watchin tv and hearing a man growl beside me on the sofa. I was alone in the house.
Another was lying on the floor sleeping and my dad was in the bed and lookin over at my dad and seeing a small female figure but very dark like a shadow but it was definitely a figure climbing over my dad on the bed and me saying `dad?` and it jumping off my dad and running out the room. I thought it was my littlest sister but she was sleeping in another room plus I would of seen her hair and everything but it was just a dark shadow.
Scary huh?

Mhmm, I haven't seen UFO Hunters in a couple weeks tho. There was this one event involving a guy flying a plane, crashing the plane and than miraculously being saved by a UFO that was my favorite episode. *nod*

Well my first one was when I was seven or eight, and I'd lived in the same house basically all my life. Weird stuff had happened there before, but mainly in the basement. And nothing really scary. More like feeling like you just need to get out of the room now? kind of things.
Anyway, my bedroom was way in the back of the house, and my parents' room was all the way in the front, so we were separated by quite a distance. So one night, I was laying in my bed, trying to sleep. I couldn't have the door shut because in that room, if darkness was total, it literally felt like there was a real weight pressing down on you, trying to choke you. D: (That's why I'm still a little afraid of the dark. >_>; )
So suddenly, I hear these noises, like heavy footsteps. It was like step...drag...step. Like something was coming up the basement stairs. ><
The staircase was near my room- around the corner, through the kitchen and indoor porch and then you were there, so whatever IT was, I was afraid it would find me first. Cause I wasn't thinking ghost, I was thinking robber because the back door and basement stairs intersected.
I was like frozen in fear. D: It kept coming closer slowly, I knew I couldn't get to my parents in time though, so I thought I'd just hide under my blankets.
When I closed my eyes or covered my head, it began to get louder or move faster. I started crying cause I was so scared. It was like it was coming FOR me.
It was like right beside my room and I hid under my blankets.
It kept making that noise how it was walking like it was dragging one of its feet- step...drag...step...you know?
And right when I knew it was NEXT to me, I threw back the covers. I at least wanted to see what it was. D:
There was like this huge shadowman like the size of my dad or taller. and he kind of growled at me. And that's all I remember.
The next morning I had bruises on my forearms. >_<
I never slept in that room again as long as we lived in that house. D:

You even woke up with bruises? Agh, thats so scary!!!!!!!!
The growling alone would make me run for my life...

When I lived in a haunted house something grabbed my arm when I was sleeping and I woke up with 5 finger like bruises across my bicep... It sounds really similar to your experience. I was scared too. And when it grabbed me I had this chill go down my spine and I woke up shivering... Ghosts are real & scary.
Did anything like that happen again?

There's not alot of jobs going round where I am at the moment and if there are jobs going they're not at places where you want to work because you get treated badly there.

Well I was just a little girl, and by the time it growled, it was right next to me, and I was to fucking scared to move. ; -;
It didn't like growl like a dog you know, it was like a growly voice kind of growl.

Nothing that bad ever happened there again.
We moved out of that house maybe like half a year later.
I refused to sleep in my bedroom and then my mom had her own scary ghost experience and we moved out after that... >_>
She woke up suddenly in the middle of the night and said her room was ice cold, and then she said a real ghost, like not a shadow thing like was in my room but a REAL one, an old woman, walked out of her closet, stopped at the foot of her bed and pointed at my mom and then pointed at herself and smiled, and then walked out through the wall. O_O
She was so scared that she and my dad started looking for new houses the next day.

I told my mom in detail exactly what happened to me a few years later, and this was SO strange. She grew up in that house too and slept in the same room as I did and said she had the same thing happen to her. o_o;;

@HIM: Yeah, thats how it is where I live too... Most of the places hiring right now are fast food joints and the work there sucks... Plus you don't get paid much. The jobs I really want have lots of competition. I need to re-write my resum. ;;
