I believe that big foot does indeed still exist. I say still because we do have fossil evidence of such creatures as living thousands of years ago. I often wonder why science doesn't make the obvious connections to big foot with early hominids. I don't think it's impossible to think that there are small tribes of them living in the dense forests where we never go and can't survive in. It's also one of our few mythological beasts that have a fossil record. Many cultures around the world have stories of "hairy men" that live in the woods. Often these men ARE intelligent and behave territorial towards humans. I believe these creatures are intelligent and that if they don't want us to find them...we won't. Here's some examples of why I think it's possible.

1. Creatures matching their description are in the fossil record.
2. Animals once thought extinct have been found before.
3. They are better adapted to the environment on earth than we are and are intelligent beings. More so than Gorillas and Chimps. They've been seen with crude weapons and burring dead animals to eat later. If they don't want to be found they won't be. An interesting bit of information about the Panda is that it took white men over 80 (and thousands of old school dollars when 1000 was shitloaded rich) years and multiple teams to find and kill the already known and proven animal. If you compare the often lazy day time activities of the panda (who is white and black against a green background) and the fact that it only has one food source to the supposed nocturnal and omnivorous ways of the often discribed dark haired bigfoot. You begin to see how it would prove difficult to find one in ones life time.
4. Uncountable eyewitnesses threw out the world and worlds history have described similar looks, behaviors and environments.

The amount of circumstance-able evidence for Bigfoot is enough to convict a man of murder, and yet we still question whether or not it exists. I swear if I won the lottery I would mount a hunting expedition, because it seems to be the only way science accepts these things is with a dead specimen. The giant squid, Panda, and Gorilla all took dead bodies to be considered more than local myth.

I agree... And yes, Doctor Krantz proved that they existed 30,000 yrs ago. Its interesting how 3 different mammals branched off from Austrolaphithicus... first, homo sapiens, than neanderthal, and also giganthipicus blacki.

I know they exist... and I would like to go on a team effort into the forest to find one.
It might take MONTHS or maybe years of backpacking but I think it can be accomplished. Then again, even with photo evidence, most people will still consider the event a "hoax" and claim me a "fraud" that's just out to get money. >_______<

Well, if you take win the lottery, call me up Neph and I'll go with you. xD lol//

Good question, HIM... And honestly, I think they prefer their privacy. In their minds, humans are already destroying the planet and making most areas uninhabitable for them, since they have to live in the most isolated parts of the wilderness...
And I think its merely coincidence that so many people have stumbled upon them when they were hiking or backpacking. They are like a rare, nearly extinct species that can move so fast, they could outrun a horse, no problem and they can climb trees faster than a bear and run right up a cliff, like a mountain goat... what other animal can do that? That's extraordinary!

Haha, you're silly demoncat, but I agree, bigfoot is a shy creature! 8D

Maybe they're shy about being overly hairy or they're worried about being mistaken for a Wookie.

Plus they are running round nakked

Hehe, a wookie. True that....
Bigfoots tend to destroy lumber mills and logging company's equipment, so people have actually shot at bigfoots before, which is why I think they are weary and possibly afraid of humans. They know we have weapons that they do not have, so they keep to themselves.

They can hope that the people working there are very prude-ish and expose themselves seeing as they are already naked :XD

Usually when bigfoots attack humans (they attack by throwing large rocks or bolders or logs) they tend to hid behind a mass of trees or equipment or buildings for protection against guns...Still, lots of loggers do see bigfoots. Naked or not, they cannot hide forever.

I find the idea of flasher big foot amusing with it's waterproof trench coat on. Just waiting for some poor unsuspecting person.

Loggers are much more out in the sticks so they have a much better chance of seeing big foot that hikers who are out there for a week. Although there have been accounts of hikers having their camp trashed in the night or during the day when they've left camp by big foot.

Haha but that's more likely to be pervert human dressed up as a bigfoot flashing people. xD
Fo'sho HIM... when you live and work out in the boonies for many years, you're definitely a thousand times more likely to see a bigfoot than say a city person who decided to hike or go camping... If someone's trashing a persons campsite its most likely a bear..

As you do decide to live in the woods and trash campsites just so you can have a good laugh when they come back and get all pissed off.

If that was me, I'd probably dress-up like Yogi bear so I could shout "Lets get their picnic baskets booboo!"

And than if a camper saw me they'd be like "Oh my god bear" or "HOSHITBIGFOOOT!"

A friend of mine has a gorilla suit... he crashed a performance of Godzilla Eats Las Vegas in it. I don't understand what the point of that was, seeing that godzilla =/= gorilla/bigfoot oAo

.. I think it would have been more fun to crash a campsite or a parked car with people inside 8D

Thoth you'd have to becareful that you didn't go to deep into the woods for fear of the hunters that would mistake you for Big Foot. Hate for you to get shot and dumped somewhere when they realized you were human.

I do like the idea of jumping out and scaring a car load of people. That would be awesome. :)

Awesome Rain...one of my friends bought himself a gorilla suit for halloween. They're pretty awesome//
Godzilla is just a badass movie character. and than u have all ur friends dress up as Japanese tourists. hehe. XD
A campsite would be easy enough to do... and than people would run, scrambling out of their tents and heading for their cars to GTFO out of there...

Or mistake me for a bear, Andais... Yeah, that would be a shocker! "Bob, nice shot!" "ohhh, wait... that thing has 2 legs. oh damn..." lol Well I go backpacking for months... but never in a bear or gorilla suit for that very reason. It would be hilarious tho.

Yeah, as long as none of those people you are scaring have a gun. ^^;;
