Exactly, Pat... It is a weird coincidence, I suppose. Yeah it sounds like you are having worse weather than we are here in California... its freezing, around 30 f out but its been a sunny day, without a cloud to be seen. This morning it was extremely foggy, I couldn't see anything when I took my dog out for a walk but now the fogs cleared out. Cool, whats he painting on his wall? I painted earlier today... the first time this year! lol// I didn't paint much, just the background to one of my earlier paintings that I started 5 months ago.

We ended up getting very high and painting all sorts of things on his wall. I did a waterfall in one of the corners, plus some flowery crawly things around his door, a view into a bright, grassy world with two moons and then a few tentacles coming out from behind the door and creeping up to his light switch. :P I need to make sure he takes pictures of it...

Nice. I've noticed that I'm always better at artistic stuff like photography and painting when I'm stoned...
I think getting high inspires the mind or maybe just makes you want to create stuff because you are easily amused... lol

So far 2011 has been nice, I just hope the weather gets better soon so there will be a good crop spring flowers to photograph.

Yeah I find so too Thoth, when I do get myself to actually start doing some art, it always turns out great when I'm high. Not saying I'm completely talentless when sober, but still. It's somehow so much easier.. it's like my hand knows where to go and I don't even have to think about it!
I'll try and get him to do it, though knowing him it'll probably take weeks.. I'm leaving the country on Monday morning though for uni.. and my partner, who I'm missing horribly after three weeks away. ;___;

Hehe same here, paintings always look more professional and colorful when you're high...
Also, I become more creative and willing to try new things with my art and I think its good to experiment sometimes with your preferred medium so that you can trust yourself more with new art styles. Exactly, normally art takes concentration, focus but when you're high its soooo easy! Everything you think is just creative, pure thoughts. Its great.

True true. Getting high actually got me back into doing drawing, among other things of course, like a trip to Barcelona which inspired me a lot.. went to so many galleries and museum, and all the art everywhere in the city.. :)

I'm going back tomorrow morning, finally get to see him in the afternoon.. I can't wait! :gonk:

He's the kind of artist who does stuff that makes you go WHY ?! like the pickled cow.

Barcelona was great, apart from the crowds of tourists. But even they didn't manage to bring the trip down, even though we were there in July. Weather was awesome, if a bit too humid for viking me, the art everywhere was amazing and the architecture is beautiful too. Definitely recommend it, and if you do go, go to the Dalí museum that is just outside the city. It's about an hour's train ride or something, but so worth it. Not many of his most famous pieces, but it's really big and has loads of stuff I'd never seen before. Plus the building itself is just really cool. And Gaudi... don't get me started on Gaudi, haha! His famous cathedral, La Sagrada Familia, is mindblowing.. I was prepared for something amazing, but it still blew me away!

Damien Hirst is strange, but I've seen some really good pieces by him too, so I don't really know how I feel about him. I tend to like "shock" art though..

Banksy has to be my favorite artist at the moment, he does graffiti art not tagging so it's there for everyone to see and not just in an gallery.

Oh, well leprechauns get soggy pretty fast. Unless you add them to your Lucky Charms. Of course, then they freak out and steal your cereal and try to escape on shooting stars and things like that. It isn't pleasant. :no:

Yeah, I've tried to do monochrome before, but they never look quite right to me because they seem plain since I don't have a whole lot of white things in my inventory. A ton of pink and black, but not a lot of white. XD

Actually, the gold just makes it worse. Makes the leprechauns sink and get soggy quicker.
