>_> Ise has forayed back into the realm of digital stuff, even though she sucks at it. Below are a handful of works in progress, I'm curious to hear peoples' thoughts on them. It'll determine whether or not I start to do more of them and if I want to offer them as RL commissions.

I don't think I have any set techniques. @[email protected]; All of them I'm just messing around with something new, really.
And ha, the one with the green dress and red hair is me.

It looks like you're having fun experimenting. Go wild! Try new brushes!
BE INTENSE!

:shock::drool:
wooow your stuff's pretty! I think your REALLY good, though I do wonder... why have you so many projects going at once? You should really pick one and finish it :) I would love to see what any of these look like completed

Lovely. I am very envious of the way you color the hair! I'd especially love to see the second picture completed (red and purple hair). Ah, makes me wish I had Photoshop... I use Adobe Illustrator.

Anna_Crackers: I mess with brushes a little and occasionally tweak them into my own, but for the most part I'm trying to get the basics down. ^^ More or less I'm pushing more with color, though they still look a bit bland to me.
Bound Birdie: It's not uncommon at all for artists to have a multitude of works going on. If one frustrates me too much and I need a break from it I work on another. It's the only way art majors make it through school with the deadlines. ^^ I also have about 15 other things going on in traditional media, but unfortunately my time for art recently is scarce. Each will be completed when I can get to it, likely commissions first followed by my personal work.
Crystal Helena: oo; I keep getting that lately, I'm not sure why. I've been feeling the hair (aside from the first one with the wavy purple hair) is sub-par. The straight hair on the second has been driving me mad doing the hatching the way I have been. I'll probably finish it that way for that one, but I'm still attempting to find a more natural way to handle it. :frowns:
And haa.. Illustrator. That is the bitchiest out of all the Adobe programs to me, and the least user friendly. @[email protected]; Drove me batty when I was learning how to handle it.

Ah, Illustrator's not so bad! I had a bunch of classes on it in college and fell in love with it over Photoshop. You can do lots of wonderful things, it's just very tedious and time consuming. I think it'd be a hell of a lot more user friendly to me if I just got a dang tablet!
My problem with it in the beginning was trying to learn the concept of I'm making shapes and layers rather than just lines.

>.< Well uncommon no. If you take a look at my photo bucket you will most likely see about 30 unfinished projects and about two that are finished. But I will pick one or another back up from time and time again and improve on it. But that does nothing to keep me focused. I haven't a lot of time for drawing myself and I end up spreading myself so thin I forget where I was really going with a piece. I wasn't really trying to sound offensive, really just encouraging you to finish the beauty that you've started (commissions especially lol) I would just like to see what your truly capable of ^.^

Ise, i dunno why exactly, but i really adore the fourth one (the one with the black BG) it just seems so ethereal and hurm.. im not sure what other words to use? delicate? that one really really draws my attention for some reason but i cant seem to pinpoint why exactly.
