Something in the shadows seemed to move and then pikachu dissappeared into the shadows.

"Pikachu!" Thorn called. "You've eaten enough apples. Come down!" No reply. dun dun dun went through her head.

A evil laugh seemed to come from the shadows when Pikachu dodn't come down. Then a had made of shadows came from the ground and grabbed onto Evans legs and started to suck him into the shadows.

"Ahh! Evan!" She grabbed his hand and held on. "Do you think this is your master?!"

Evan shook his head "At least I dont think ss." he said as he held onto her tightly. The hand still pulled harder and now Evan was up to his stomach in shadows.

"Does it hurt, maybe it's trying to help!" Thorn tried. She was getting tired, and she was afraid the thing would rip Evan in half, or pull her in as well if they resisted for a few more minutes.

Evan shook his head "no it doesn't hurt but I feel like I can feel ground underneath me." he said as he looked at her and worry and fear where in his eyes. He worryed that he might pull Thorn in and that he was going to die if he let go. He didn't want her to die also so he smilled a sad smile and looked at Thorn "sorry, but I dont want to pull you down with me" he said and slowly started to let go of her hand. But right before he left go completly three words excaped his leps "I love you" and then he was gone, dissappearing into the shadows that where underneath him.

"EWWWW!" Thorn jumped up and down. "WHERE EVER YOU ARE PIKACHU, YOU WHERE RIGHT!" She jumped up and down for a little while. She called out Charmeleon. "Ok, we need to find some shadows that pulled in Pikachu and Evan." he nodded and they began searching.

A evil laugh seemed to come from the shadows "you won't find them"

"Ok, let them go then. If we can't find them." Thorn said. Maybe whoever it was would listen to reason. "Since you are obviously too smart for us, how about you just spit Pikachu and Evan out, hmm?"

The shadows laughed and spit out pikachu into Throns arms. "you can have the pokemon back but the human is mine, he will be minefor now on." he said and a form started to come out of the shadow, it was Darkri

"Pika Pi!" Pikachu hugged Thorn. "Pikachu, pi ka ka!" "I know, relax." Thorn hugged him back. "Darkrie, please, give Evan back. He never did anything bad to you." Thorn tried to persuade the pokemon.

Darkrie laughed "why should I?" he asked as he walked towards Thorn "he is just another pathetic little human who has stolen from me and many other pokemon and people. So why should I relece him?"

"Well, we could try to tell everyone that you didn't like people..." she tried. She knew she was going nowhere fast.

Darkrie seemed to smerked "yeah you could but what would that do for you?" he asked

give us a time waister. she thought. She was about to say something when Pikachu jumped down and said, "Pika pi, ka chu pika chu. Pikachu, ka pi chu?" Which meant, "Look Darkrie, the one you swallowed up is hopelessly in love with my friend over there. I need to prove her wrong by showing her that."

Darkrie seemed to smerk when he heard what pikachu said. Then he turned to Thorn and said "well then I have a question for you. If this friend of yours is in love with you what does he mean to you?" he asked "is he just a friend or something else?"

of course he goes and asks that question!!!!!!! Stupid Evan for falling into Darkrie! Pikachu answered for her. "Pika pi, chu ka chu." Which meant "Of course she does, she's hopelessly in love too." I need to remember to scold pikachu for setting me up!

Darkrie looked at Pikachu "I would like to hear it from her weither or not she loves him." he said and turned to Thron "I prefer hearing it from the person who I am asking the question to." he said and waited to hear what thorn said

Pikachu, if you are psychic, I officially devoid you of all cookies!!!!! Thorn thought for a moment. "Umm," She liked him as a fried, and gosh darn it she didn't know! Just tell the truth then. "I'm not sure. I mean, he's a good friend, but I'm just not sure...." she gave a glare to Pikachu who shrugged.

Darkrie nodded and looked as if he was rolling those words around in his head. He then smiled and looked at Thorn thoughtfully. "I understand but yet there is one problem." he said and then next to him outh of the shadows appeared a window like glass and you could see Evan laying down in complete darkness. He looked like he was out cold and almost all the life was drained out of him. "you see I sent him in there and now I cant get him out." he said softly.

"Eep!" she shreiked. "If you knew you couldn't bring him out, why'd ya bring him in?!?!?!"

Darkrie growled and turned to her. "because I thought that you liked him back and the only way to bring him out is by the hand of someone they love. SO really I can do nothing here" he said as he looked at her.

of course they work me into this kind of situation. Doesn't Evan know by now that I get squeamish when it comes to feelings???? she thought miserably. "Isn't there an exception?" she asked timidly.
